Oh my goodness! I just happened to pick up a bag of these at TJ Maxx. Well I don't get to TJ Maxx that often so I searched for them online. Pleasantly surprised that there are individual bags of them! These are simply the most amazing chips I have ever had! Buy ‘em, you won't regret it!
After a trip to northern Michigan and experiencing these Cherry BBQ chips they have become my absolute favorite and the only way I can get them is to order them.
My daughter sent me a picture of these off of Costco's site, but they're only available in a few locations and not online. So I found a vendor on Walmart.com. Anyway, they arrived well packaged and not broken, so happy with that. Couldn't wait to taste them! They're a sturdy chip, not paper thin, and have a great crunch. I was born in Idaho so I know a great potato chip! These can compete! I also lived in Traverse City for a couple years in the 2000s, so was intrigued by a Michigan Cherry BBQ chip! They have a nice BBQ seasoning, well balanced, maybe a bit too salty for my liking, but likely normal saltiness for most people. The cherry flavor was a bit lacking. Certainly wouldn't want it to be overwhelming and taste fruity, but honestly, just barely a hint of anything that said "cherry." Overall, I'm well satisfied with these and would definitely order again. Hope they can increase their output and market footprint and get these in Publix stores down here in Florida!
I first tasted these chips in a restaurant not near where i live - the flavor is amazing and i immediately wanted more. However, they don't sell them in the stores near me - so I searched walmart, and they had the small packages which is fine. So i ordered and am so glad I did - i will probably continue to order them until they get into the stores here, if they ever do.
Great product, however a little pricey
These chips are a different texture then other Kettle chips, they are harder. The taste is great! A little pricey!
If you haven't tried these yummy Michigan Cherry barbecue chips you're missing out!
The product itself is great chips, the shipping and seller was fine, but I made a mistake not seeing this was 8 qty of INDIVIDUAL SERVING BAGS. I'd ordered a case of 12 regular size bags directly from Michigan which was $55, so when I saw this I thought I was getting a deal however I didn't catch the fine print. Would never have ordered the amount of ounces for this price point. Also, the “mystery special gift” is that there was NO extra gift in the box, barely the chips fit into the box that was shipped… so that is false advertising.
zero cheese flavor. none.
The shipping box for CHIPS was all mangled and destroyed. Was terribly disappointed
