I bought my new keurig K200 series to replace my last keurig. I love the white version. This new keurig functions well. I think I'm on my 10th keurig now. I love them. It's unfortunate they seem to break down after several years of good use. I love the k-cups but apparently a12 oz cup is no longer a brewing option, hence my favourite 12 oz coffee mug does not fit on the drip tray, which I remove and now enjoy my 10oz coffee.
I bought this Keurig a few weeks ago in sandy pearl. The colour is just amazing! The unit itself is sleek and so much more quiet than the previous one I had. I love the touch screen and ease of use. It's nice that my 9 year old can get me a cup of tea!
I was skeptical about getting one of these machines; however, got one as a Xmas gift last year. I am hooked on it now. The coffee pod selection gives you such a variety of flavors which I love. The coffee is so rich & flavorful & I can't get enough of how much better the coffee tastes than from my drip machine. It is quick & easy to have your favorite brew in a matter of minutes. Also, no waste dumping excess coffee from my drip machine. Once you have one you will wonder how you did without it. Love, love my Keurig!
I recieved this item complimentary from Influenster for testing and review purposes. Initially, and most importantly, I do love this machine. It makes a lovely cup of coffee (which is obviously the most important thing), the touch screen works quite well, and the design of this particular model is much more sleek and takes up less room than previous models of the same reservoir size. But I do have two small complaints and a rather large one. First, this machine seems strangely loud; when I brew a cup of coffee it sounds like gears are turning. Second, the power button on the touch screen doesn't do anything; as near as I can tell there is no way to turn the machine off other than to pull the plug. And lastly, I loathe the scanner that looks for "special paint" on the K-Cups. I have a lot of older K-Cups (I buy in bulk) from before this came into place, and the machine will not let me use them! Additionally, it bothers me a great deal that, although I HAVE a resuasable K-Cup, I now have to buy Keurig's resusable cups (which are only reusable about 20 times) if I want to use loose grounds. This was a big kick when my husband and I first realized what was going on, because now we have no way to use the K-Cups we have in bulk, and we have to spend more money (on a regular basis) if we want to use loose grounds. All in all, I do love the machine; I think it's a definite necessity in our household. I just really, really hate the fact that the machine now gets to decide which K-Cups will work, even if they're official K-Cups that just happen to be a little bit too old.
I don't like how it warms the water before allowing you to select your brew. On other models I've used, you select your brew, push start, and then can run off to the bathroom or something while you wait for the cup to brew. It also asks for more water to be added when there is at least 12 oz sitting in the reservoir on the back; it won't suck down the water unless the water level is more than 1 1/2 " above the valve. The water reservoir is finicky to get into place without turning the unit around every time...not as good as the side reservoir placement.
I just bought the K200 coffee maker. Specs says it has 9 brew sizes. This is misleading!!!!! It only has 4 brew sizes (4, 6, 8 or 10 oz) unless you buy k-mug k cups which are only available in the U.S. So beware if you are looking a the Keurig coffee makers because they have a larger brewing capacity... they don't for Canadians who don't go/buy U.S. coffee.
Coffee tasted ok - it's the maintenance that it requires! Cleaning needle weekly - now I get a Sorry Brew Interrupted error message - clean needle again - run hot water through - continue to get error message - is being returned tomorrow - one month old! Also do not at all like the fact Keurig restricts K cups to their own brand - this in itself would cause me to return the item..Very disappointed - will research other brands never to purchase a Keurig again!
I got this product as a house warming gift 6 months ago and at first it was great then after 4 months it kept overflowing coffee grounds asking for needle maintenance - did it - still keeps overflowing coffee grounds - makes a mess - keeps asking for filter replacement after 2 weeks of changing it - this is a definite DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY -- glad I didn't pay for it.
I bought the machine two years ago for the cottage - used only on weekends. Now keeps saying preheating and doesn't do anything, out of warranty. Seems to me a lot of people had this same problem after one year. Should last longer than this - can't afford to buy a new machine every two years, especially since it's only used on weekends.
I received the Keurig® 2.0 K200 brewer from Influenster for testing and review purposes. I was excited to try this machine and set it up as soon as I received it. I have to say that I was not impressed right off the bat as you cannot use the reuseable K-Cups with this brewer. That for me is a huge negative. If they are not going to be environmentally friendly then it is off the table for me. I would not recommend this product to anyone for the reason stated above. I also had a Keurig KCup break open during brewing causing quite the mess.
