This was my favorite item! I am so in love with all the choices of drinks that I could make. You can make different drinks such as ice coffee to lemonade...
I have had a Keurig since they first came out and mine finally bit the dust. I bought the 425 3 weeks ago and it has been bliss ever since. I friend just bought the 525 and for more than a $100 extra than this he basically only got a bigger reservoir and the night light can change colors. Big deal.... no thanks... I LOVE the 425!
Visiting with my sister recently and using hers, I liked it so much I decided to by one for myself. The coffee it makes tastes great. Your are able to adjust the cup size and strength of each cup. It can be programmed to save your preferred settings. Its walks you through every step of making a great cup of coffee.
I had bought a new Keurig 575 coffee maker and got the 425 as a gift. Can,t find enough differences between the 2 that it is wortk paying the extra money for the 575. I got the k 425 for 99.00 and jumped on it at that price. I use the after market refillable pods and all them worked in both machines except one. The 425 would accepted it but the 575 would not. After doing research on the new 2.0 machines I found that Keurig trys to lock out the use of aftermarket k cups which I feel like is monoply act. Kind like a car company telling you that you have to use their licenced oil in it instead of the kind you want to use... So far I am happy with both of them since I found out about the hacks that you can use. Otherwise I wouldn,t buy any more Keurig coffee makers if I absolutely had to use only pods licenced bt Keurig.
I bought this as a birthday present for my dad. I ordered online and had it picked up at another store out of state. Process went good. My father loved it but decided to return it bc he said it was too big for him. It's just him in the house. So he returned it with only a little difficulty and purchased the small one and some more K cups.
I love this newest version of keurig. I previously had the K50 for eight years and it was still working however my husband bought this as a gift to give me the option of different brew sizes. I love the many sizes I can chose from and the carafe. There was a few kinks to figure out with the reusable cup and the keurig only brewing there kcups but I'm satisfied now that we figured it out. It brews slower than my last keurig and does make a louder sound than before but that doesn't bother me. The coffee tastes wonderful with the filter and the option to brew stronger. I love to preset mine to brew 3-4 cups 10 minutes before I wake up on work days, that gives me enough to drink 2 cups and take my travel mug without standing over it the whole time. I only wish I had invested a little more $ on the stainless carafe because the plastic one doesn't keep the coffee hot for over an hour so I do have to reheat what I'm taking in my travel mug.
I initially bought 3 K-cup reusable filters which are great because we usually are having coffee at different times. Previously I had a Verismo which I would buy the My-Cap wrappers and reuse the cups but it was $15.99 for 100 and my machine didn't work that great. I had hoped to use my double lined thermos we had with our old coffee maker but it does not fit so I bought the K-carafe. t like the brew features for both karate and coffee cups. My only issue is the water level is low all the time even though it will not drain all of the water so you have to refill quite often.
Machine is beautiful but now I must push far more buttons just to get a full cup of coffee. I am the only one using the machine so too I must push "strong" each time, EACH TIME, and your idea of a 12 oz is nothing. I am so afraid that I might break it made cheap. The water container is the only nice upgrade and the lid feature is fabulous however the lid could break any moment if some place's any pressure on it when washing it. Frankly, I am extremely disappointed, I wish I had just purchased the old model with three easy buttons. I just want a easy cup of coffee first thing in the morning..... Walmart service was fabulous, thank you!!!! But not so much on Keurig K425 Coffee Maker. Thank you.
None of my k cups were usable with this model. You have to find the newer ones to buy............and how do you know before hand if they are newer of not??? Planning to return it......too much trouble.
It makes terrible coffee. Also it's time consuming. I returned it. Thank you Walmart for your caring staff and your customer friendly return policy.
