[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the air conditioner and immediately installed. It was packaged very well. It took about 30 minutes to install. I live in the south and this time of year it's warm enough for air conditioning but the nights and mornings are still chilly. As soon as it was installed I turned on the cold air. First, great air flow and super cold air. Second, it is very quiet. I have had window units before and they were very loud. This unit does have supplemental heat. Meaning it's meant to be operated when temperatures outside are between 41 and 75 degrees….it's supplemental and not primary heat source. But, it's perfect for knocking off the chill in the mornings and I could not be happier. The unit also dehumidifies…that is also a plus here in the south! It has a washable filter and comes with a remote. I'm impressed!!

We have central air but our son's room always stays hot, so we added this to his room, and it made such a big difference!
