Very pleased with our purchase. Easy to use and works very well. Use ours with a floor drain at my mom's so she doesn't have to worry about emptying out the device.
Great how it shows the moisture rating immediately when plugged in. I am very happy with this dehumidifier for my large family room that was once our garage.
This dehumidifier is powerful and really sucks the water out of the air. It's a little noisy, but it's in my basement, so that's not a problem. The bucket has a handle, so it's easy to empty. After only a week or so, I can't say how it will hold up over time, but so far, I'm very happy with this unit.
I had it for a week already for the basement and it's working great you get about 24 hours before you have to empty a full container of water, it's not noisy you hear it but it's not super loud , I think it's a great price , it's easy to empty and it has a handle
I bought one of these many moons ago. Worked great. Doesn't hold a lot of water in reservoir- must be emptied every 6 hours on continuous Turbo operation, but can be hooked up to a hose for continuous emptying. Easy to operate. It was so good I bought a second one.
So far, I like this 50 Pint Dehumidifier. I gave it 4 stars only because I felt that there should have been some kind of a hose included to run the drained water to a sewer drain. There was an adaptor included to connect a garden type drain hose. I will be using this dehumidifier in my basement with another dehumidifier made by another manufacturer. Since I live in the South where many days during the summer bring forth hot and humid weather. It most likely will require the operation of both dehumidifiers in order to maintain a 40 percent relative humidity reading. In the Spring and Fall I'm hoping to get by with using only one unit to get and maintain the 40 % reading. Only time will tell how well this dehumidifier will perform compared to other manufacturers dehumidifiers that I've used over the years.
Works well and takes the humidity out of the room. Its fairlyWorks well and takes the humidity out of the room. Its fairly quiet compared to our old one. I gave it a four because it does give off some heat into the room. OK for our purposes, as it is in our basement. However, if you want to use it in the living space it could get warm
The unit works fine...a bit noisy, so I run it when I'm not on the first floor where it's located. The listing does not indicate it is a REFURBISHED UNIT. To be honest!... if I had known that, I would not have purchased. Let's see how long it lasts. The previous unit [same size, container capacity] lasted 7 years. So far so good/ does the job/ no complaints = 4 stars.
The title and the description of this unit did not say anything about it being a used / return unit. But turns out it was refurbished and not actually refurbished enough. The fan speed control button would not work. It came by way of one of Walmarts outside sellers. But the good thing is Walmart allowed me to return it with no cost to me.
No RH% settings; doesn't turn off automatically, Never stops running, but rarely fills the very small reservoir. VERY loud, rattling sound - until I kick it. NOT good, considering it's brand new. Only available in white. The only improvement over my older, larger, black Keystone dehumidifier (which is great, I was only wanting to give it some "help" since I moved to a bigger place) is the placement of the filter, which is much easier to pull up from the top without removing the reservoir first than to pull down from inside.
