The ac works just fine and I like the fact that it cycles and both the cold and the heat work. It is being used in a small room for the time being and the temp is set to 74 and it seems to be keeping that temp with no problem. It's a little louder than I would like, but it works and that is what counts. One thing that I want to mention. When I installed it and started using it a smell came out of it like it had been in storage for some time. It was an old type smell. Filled the room. I had to use frebreeze to knock it out and I ended up spraying the coils on the ac to help knock out that smell. It seems to have worked. No more smell.
This was bought for my son's room that I added on. He has used this unit now for a couple of weeks. It has had no problem cooling 230sf. I haven't been able to tell much of a change in my electric bill since using this as well. Seems to be very energy efficient. I will update review when we use the heat. So far it has been worth the purchase.
Finally up and running. I wasn't aware that it was a 220. I had to have a 220 plug installed before I was able to use it. Cools my large room very well. Love that's it's both air and heat.
Was very easy to install and it's working very well
I purchased 2 of these for my rental property and they are really good and easy to install
I only gave 4 stars out of five because the item arrived damaged. It had obviously been dropped in shipping. It had a pretty good dent in the back. We weren't sure it was going to work but since its the middle of the summer and blazing hot, we decided to set it up and try it anyway. It works great. Huge upgrade from what we had previously. So much quieter and automatic and comes with a remote.
I bought this for the Heating feature at the max temperature of 86°. It does not blow warm air. I do not recommend this for the heat.
When I purchased this unit off of Walmart website, it was listed and I paid $389. When I received the unit. The packing slip showed a different price which was $292 so Walmart overcharged me $94.99 And I called them Letting them know they overcharged me spoke with Supervisor. He refused to credit me the difference. It makes no sense you pay for something one price and then when you receive it, it showing a totally different price that only did they overcharge me, but that brings the value down of the unit if I ever want to sell it or have it on the form, I am definitely 100% satisfied or happy with the outcome. As far as the unit goes it seems to be fine but the heat is horrible. It is not hot enough so I do not recommend this unit if you're trying to get something to keep a particular area warm for the winter months.
Does not provide adequate heat. Would nit recommend.
Had the thing since last October just as it was starting to cool down and not be needed, cranked it up for use as it is getting hotter and the compressor will not come on. The unit has had a handful of times of actual AC use and did work and now it will not work beyond the fan. Majorily disatissfied an filing a warranty claim now.
