It's exactly what I was looking for! putting it together was a little tedious but only have to do it once. glad I got an aluminum one because it's not too heavy and easy to pick up

This was exactly what I needed for my trip over the holidays! It held a cooler , 2 suitcases and some other small things. I did buy a cargo bag that fit inside of the carrier and it kept everything dry! I would higly recommend this. It was also easy to assemble.

Some customers noted missing pieces or poorly drilled components, which might happen from time to time with mass-produced products like this. In my case, none of that was true. The unit was cleanly cut and drilled, with all the proper parts, nothing broken or damaged. One small ding on the aluminum frame from shipping, which could be helped with better packaging, but, to be honest, it's likely no more damage than you would cause installing it the first time. Aluminum bends pretty easily, and a ding in the rail is probably coming at some point sooner than you'd hope. It's nice and light, which helps you hold more stuff (a steel one won't suffer those blemishes as easily, but it'll probably add 50 lbs to the unit's weight, putting more strain on your tow vehicle's tongue weight constraints). I'm pretty happy with it.

Have not had a chance to use it yet, but it seems like a nice cargo carrier. I like the fact that it is light weight. I am however slightly concerned that the corners are made out of plastic; time will tell how they will hold up.

Looks good but arrived with a small dent

Top frame was completely missing. Instruction manual was terrible. It consisted on one “instruction” page that had three diagrams. Nothing was labeled.
