This leash is very durable and strong. our new puppy sometimes tries to bolt out the door and will pull on the leash, this cord doesn't let him and the comfort grip is a nice addition to protect our hands from the rope though it is not rough feeling at all.
I have purchased this leash 5 times. Not because they break but because they are super durable. I've used this leash since 2021 and the oldest is still in great condition.
