This is a great little winch. we purchased it to raise and lower a deer feeder we have. It makes it so easy to lower and fill the feeder, a.d easy to crank back up.

The only thing I would I don't like is the cable. Yes, pitch stuck in there. When you try and take it out or go back in my suggestion is use a rope.

Good value for cost. cable is springee and wants to unwind , causing jams. I am planning to replace cable with rope Has definded positions for up , down. neutral Works fine

Looks cheap but maybe because of the way it was handled. Box looked like it fell of the truck and thrown back in

Short money to buy but wasn't worth the hassle
Item not built well (cable got wedged into crank, crank wouldn't even turn initially and had to put screwdrivers between pulley crank and metal that it was getting caught against to even get it to move).
