Easy to assemble. Be cautious to only tighten the screws just enough or the wood will crack. They really need to send black screws for the black bread box as they are very noticeable otherwise it's a cute bread box. It's pretty spacious . It can hold one homemade loaf (9x5) and also some other baked goods. For the cost it's a great purchase!
