I really like these 12 inch By 12 inch, squares made of quality plastic. These squares Easily attach to each other. They feel comfortable under foot, but not squishy and not Like you're walking on concrete. One suggestion would be to unbox them and let them air out outside for a week, especially if you are gonna be using these indoor. Other than that, they should be durable for long-term use.

This PVC products has dangerous level of off-gassing and can be harmful. The "new plastic" smell comes from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which, if the product is used inside of a home, can be a health hazard. I have placed the product outdoors for two days and the out-gassing is still at dangerous levels. Although the product is well made, I cannot recommend it's purchase.
