I loved this so much my hamster has so much space he loves it. My only issue is that the lid doesn't seem to close all the way. Overall my hamster loves it and it looks very nice

Love this cage! Got it for my Russian dwarf hamster it is large and exceeds the requirements for a hamster cage!! It is also not heavy at all and was easy for my boyfriend to put together.

It looks great. The instructions aren't very detailed but it was fairly easy to figure out. The protective film over the fiberglass is partially under the wood edges which was a pain to remove. And one piece of the fiberglass has some imperfections. Overall it was a good buy.

I bought this KFFKFF Wood-Constructed Hamster Enclosure (48 x 20 x 20in) from a third-party seller on the Walmart Marketplace for my Syrian Long-Hair hamster. The size is impressive, but that is the only positive. The Product is Dangerous: Upon opening the box and assembling, the wood emitted a strong, persistent chemical odor. My veterinarian confirmed that the wood enclosure gives off phenols, which are harmful gases known to cause severe respiratory problems and long-term liver damage in small animals. The fumes are toxic. I could not remove the smell %26 make the cage safe for my pet. Seller Misconduct: When I contacted the seller to return this defective and unsafe item, they were unhelpful and asked that I provide proof in the form of a "test report for the hazardous gas". This is completely unreasonable for a consumer, and I allege, a way to deny a legitimate, safety-related refund. Walmart Was Wonderful: I immediately contacted Walmart Customer Service. The representative was wonderful, supportive, and took the issue very seriously. They immediately stepped in and facilitated the full refund and shipping label that the seller was attempting to deny me. Conclusion: AVOID this wooden cage and its seller due to the extreme health risk to your pet. You can trust Walmart to protect you. Their customer service is top-tier and saved me from a major financial and ethical headache.
