Bought the three pack after having read the other reviews, and before I could get them all out of the wrap the cats were sitting on them. So yes, they certainly have that effect on the animals. By the time the pads were laid out, they each had a cat on top of them. For what ever reason they work very well and will not argue with the result. Do like the grey color, doesn't show the fur as fast. Am keeping the paperwork to reorder more in the future.

These pads are the right size for cats of all sizes to lay on as well as for lining medium or large pet carriers. Cats ARE attracted to them, so they can be placed on chairs, couches, beds, etc. to help protect furniture and bedding from accumulating cat hairs. I've had many of the white ones in the past but prefer this gray color since it doesn't look dirty after a few uses. (Indoor cats may have "dusty" paws after using the litter box and the dust might show up where they sleep.) These are machine washable but do not hold up well. Given the reasonable price, these pads can be replaced as needed. I liked the multi-pack (three) option because I currently have six cats and know they WILL sleep on the pads. I could use another 12 or so to place around the house, so I intend to buy more.
