Great idea for it to be a half moon that way if your pet wants out of the elements but doesn't want heat they can lay on the other half. The reason for four stars is the way the cover attaches. It needs a more secure way to attach to the heating pad. It has one piece of fabric that fits half way up on the curved side and one small piece of fabric in each corner in the shape of a triangle.

They need to redesign and provide a better cover. When the dog nests she gets caught on cover and pulls it off.

Our 13 y/o Vizsla removed the top cover the first time he laid on the bed. With some modifications, I made it more secure - but still not ideal. The third night our Mr. Jaz used the pad inside his Igloo doghouse, the cover came off and he ripped a hole in the vinyl (?) covering of the bed itself. If an old boy who doesn't dig or chew, and has arthritic hips, can rip the main casing exposing wires, foil and foam - I fear what a younger or more active dog could do. Overall, heats fine but simply not durable enough for us to feel safe letting our dog use. Waste of money and time (modifying Igloo to fit cord through back floor). Disappointing as we have used multiple K & H products in the past without issue.

Ad was misleading to me. Thought I was getting a bargain, I did not. It is what it is.

I do not like this item. Once it is blown up, it does not get warm enough to reach the cover. The flat one I bought it better.

The description of this product is very deceptive...it's not a shelter...it's not a bed. I would not consider the heating pad a bed. Nor is it Igloo style. All you get for the price is a half moon heating pad with a thin cover.

This is deceptive. It is just a heating pad.
