I purchased this product for our (3) outdoor Cats. It took the cats several days to get used to the house before they would go in it and use. They now love the house and it keeps them warm in the cold MN weather. I am not sure how this will hold up to the rain and snow as it is sitting out on an open deck. I will probably have to move to an enclosed area when the weather changes.

Ive purchased over a dozen different outdoor cat shelters over the past several years. This is hands down the best. A-frame design helps keeps heat in. Double doors help w safety. Easy to clean. I prop it off the ground by placing it on top of the k&h elevated dog bed. Raised height is still easily accessible for a cat. Combo is the perfect pair. I highly recommend.

We have 3 semi-feral cats who showed up a couple of years ago, and we do our best to care for them. They are all now fixed, but we still haven't been able to fully tame them. I bought 1 of these and set it up on the covered front porch once the weather turned cold. Two of them shared it, and I bought a 2nd one which is set up next to the first one. These use very little electricity. I have them plugged into a weatherproof surge protector which is plugged into the outside outlet. The interior pad only warms up once it detects the weight of the cat or cats on it, and it produces a low warmth that supplements their natural body heat. The A-frame design allows the cat to easily stand up and stretch and turn around inside. I ended up buying a large piece of oilcloth and put it over the top and sides to help retain the heat inside and protect it from any rain or snow that might blow onto our covered porch. The cats love their heated houses which keep them safe and warm too.

With the temp. going into the single digits and wind chill going below 0 we are happy to be able to give a couple neighborhood strays a way to keep from getting injured. We keep it on our front porch where they like to come to eat. They have been sheltering inside at night. I really am happy with the velcro fastening on the doors so we could remove a door to make them more comfortable with going inside the first time.

During the summer a kitten showed up at our home in very poor shape. The kitten was starved and scared and it took months before we could get him to come by everyday and eat. He is an outdoor cat, it's impossible to get him inside. We were concerned about the heat but he managed to get thru that; however, when we had the first cold nights he would curl up on a chair on the front porch so we decided to check our options. We saw the A-Frame HEATED house on the internet and thinking this would work we purchased it and our indoor cat got in it as soon as it was put together. We followed the directions about the heating pad and placed the house on the front porch and to our relief, Rocky (we named him) was in the house the next morning. It's one of the best feelings in the world to look outside in the mornings and see Rocky curled up in his new heated home.

I have been feeding 4 stray cats since summer and have been unsuccessful at trapping them to get vetted. I worried about coming Ohio winters so got this heated A frame and it is great and the cats are using it. It assembled quickly, it is waterproof and the liner which looks like fake Sherpa is nicely heated . Little clear door panels are easy access so paranoid strays don't "feel" trapped. I may order another one . Great product.

This cat house we very easy to put together. I bought it for my niece for feral Mama and baby cat. I did purchase a step stone at Home Depot under a dollar to put inside to weight it down. We are going to put straw inside for further insulation. Time wlll tell how it holds up.

I do like the design of the house. The slight overhangs and plastic flaps help keep out water. It is large enough for several large cats or a momma and kittens. I've ended up feeding five stray cats (three females and two kittens). I'm hoping they'll accept this house before winter. I live in West Texas and the wind blows - a lot. This product is way too light to set out on its own if you have wind or gusts. I've placed mine behind a bush and secured the floor with two small heavy stepping stones. So far it's been ok and we've had some wind since I put it out. One major issue, the description at Wal-Mart did not specify clearly whether this product is heated or not. I looked. It's not heated and I thought it would be for the price.

This works very well! It heats up quite a bit...so much that on "milder" nights my cat won't go in it. I'm glad to have a place to keep him warm. I wish it was a little bigger. Two adults can fit but they seem hesitant to use it at the same time. May ha e to buy another

It's not really what I had in mind. Needed an outdoor structure with heat for a feral cat but this a frame isn't insulated enough for NY winter, also the removable door flaps should be attatched at the top of opening so they would fall back into place from gravity when the cat passed trough. I did use the heated pad and cover and placed them in her old house.
