K&H Pet Products Pet Bed Warmer for Cats & Dogs Gray Large 11 X 23.75 Inches

I have eight of these in various sizes since I rescue cats. They love it and I trust K%26H products. I have purchased other heated mats that I cannot use because they get too hot. I only trust K%26H and am about to purchase my 9th heated mat. This is excellent and my rescues absolutely love it!

I was looking for a good quality item that I would feel comfortable leaving plugged in. This arrived quickly and I tested the product as recommended. It generates warmth and not to hot. I choose this product because of all the certifications. It looks to be a good quality product that I feel comfortable leaving plugged in and keeping my cats warm, when I have the heat turned down during the day.

The price was the same as a medium. I should of gone with a medium than a small. Because the small is really small. But I didn't want a long rectangle heating pad for my dog. But I also didn't wanna upgrade to something more expensive because I have a small chihuahua. And the others were just to big. And there wasn't more of a choice from Walmart retailers. I don't really like the 3rd parties. I love walmart and I will always go with walmart.

I put it under my parakeet cage. Because its low heat stays on, I can go away on weekends without worrying about cold nights. If they want heat, they can go to that side of cage (the side I also put cover over). If they don't, it's not kachinging my electric bill that they ignore that side of cage.

My puppy will love this when floor gets cold.

This pet warmer is a life saver. My 2 miniature Dachshund's HATE to wear sweaters. Our house is 70 degrees and they have blankets to burrow into anytime they want. When we are at work is the worse so they now lay on the warmer and are loving life. My only complaint is there needs to be an on/off switch so I don't have to keep unplugging and plugging it in. I turn it off when we are home because they lay on us. I was concerned about it getting to hot and causing a fire. I do not have those concerns now. It does get warm, but not hot. It's the perfect temperature. I put a pillow case around it and a blanket over it and they lay on the blanket. I wish they sold a cover for it but the pillowcase works great. I would recommend this for anyone who has fur babies who are cold natured.

This brand makes very good products, but they charge a lot for them. If you're willing to pay more for a great product, you've found what you were looking for.

I'm not sure why the box for the large is so small it has to be folded to fit but then the pad itself says “DO NOT fold” Also it's interesting the pad also says it's only to be used with K%26H products despite saying different on the box? What is going on?
