K&H Pet Products Self-Warming Crate Pad Gray X-Small 14 X 22 Inches

I actually bought two sizes, one for our well cat, and the next size up for our sick dog. Both of our animals seemed to have gotten much comfort from this pad, in particular our dog Nell who was very ill. The mat is thin and she preferred the firmness of the mat on the floor, or on top of carpeting, to her own soft bed because of her spinal issues. It was a comfort to us to see how the pad kept her warmer than simply lying on the floor or carpet. She actually sought it out. Sadly our sweet girl had to be euthanized but we're deeply grateful to K&H for this non-electric warming pad that brought such comfort to our girl.

My Chihuahua loves the warming pad I bought him. He has arthritis, so I put it on top of his doggie bed so it would help reduce the cold underneath him coming from the floor. It's working because he's able to move around faster now that his back and joints aren't aching so bad. I highly recommend it especially for older dogs during the cold winter months.

I bought my first mat 2 years ago and it has been wonderful. I thought I'd buy another one so my sweet dog would have a backup when I clean the other one. The first mat still looks like it's new. This is a great product

We had purchased the electronic heating pad before and she didn't like it but she really likes this self-warming pad! She lays on top of it in her kennel and I cover her with her favorite blanket and she buries herself and is good for the night.

I bought them for our local spay/neuter clinic. The dogs appreciate them and they are machine washable. We have been using them for at least a year in the clinic and just ordered more to replace ones that got chewed on.

I ordered the self warming pad so that my dog would not be so cold when outside. I think this item will work fine for my dog when she realizes that it's not a chew toy!! :) She's a 2-yr old Pit and she wants to chew on the corners....ugh! I have folded it in half and put in her crate for when she sleeps at night in hopes that she will get used to the warmth and appreciate what it's for! But, I believe I made a wise purchase.

In Drop Down Menu I selected SMALL that says 20" x 25" But what arrived was X Small and it is 14 x 20. I don't know if the mix-up is due to incorrect stock numbers listed on site; or if the person loading the cart got it wrong, I do notice that the menu here does not offer the x small, so that may play a part in the mix up. I decided to use it myself for a while and see if it gets warm enough; and it does. I might use it for my feet at night since I don't like using electric blankets. Of course this will not heat as much as an electric blanket or a heating pad, but it does reflect back body heat and will help my animals to stay warm when laying on their beds that are on the floor. I will be ordering a larger size.

it would be okay if your dog doesnt chew on things. My dog had it torn up in 2 days. they need to be chew proof or something.

Expensive for what you get. Could've been better priced. Dont know if it really works or not. It slides around to much. 8 will be attaching tie downs some howm
