Lucy is my cockatiel, and although she always seems cold, she recently got sick, and was on antibiotics and I decided to introduce a source of heat to her cage that would be safe for her. At first glance, she was unsure of her new "square friend" but she quickly "warmed up" to it (haha) and she has not left it's side, especially at night when she's less active. This little heater may have saved our Lucy's life-the heater kept her warm and she used her energy to get well again.

Great purchase for our parakeets! I felt so bad seeing their feathers all fluffed out because we keep our house pretty chilly, especially in the summer. Thanks to this bird warmer, I don't have to worry about them getting too cold when I want to turn the AC cooler. They seem to love it!

My birds love these warmers!!!! One of the best items I ever bought for them !! Keeps the night chill at bay and they sleep a lot better ! For some reason this one doesn't get as warm as the other ones I purchased. Bought a replacement cord it works fine now . can't replace it she chewed the wire , ahh life with Cockatoos ! I highly recommend this product. Also use pvc to protect the wires !! Lol

using larger k%26h bird warmer now for winter, but smaller one is excellent too. we think parrot got cold and the stress caused feather plucking. she is now happy by her warmer and trying to work through rough patch. wish I would have purchased sooner.

My cockatoo loves the warmer. I find him sitting by it very frequently. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rather than a 5 was because the diameter of the flat washer was not wide enough for the spacing on his cage bars. I had larger washers, but they didn't fit the bolt on the warmer. I worked it out, but I would suggest supplying larger washers.

firstly it says this is for a parrot. the problem is that it comes in a bright orange which parrots DO NOT LIKE! secondly the cord has a cover over it so they don't chew it but it is shiny an silver. which they also hate. my bird would not even go inside his cage at all and now is skeptical anytime I put something in there. super mad about this purchase! don't sell things for pets if you don't even have any knowledge about that animal. I also ordered it in grey an it still came is orange

It has a usb end on it so I plugged it into a block and it never got warm. The block was hot. I plugged it into my laptop port and it did get warm but I can't plug it in the computer port and leave. 🙄

I had high hopes for this but it was pretty disappointing. You cannot feel any real heat emitting from the product so it defeats the purpose.
