Great Biscuits! Just be warned, they are not made for the American palate. They are not super sweet or loaded with filling. They pair wonderfully with dipping in tea or coffee. If you eat them plain, you may be disappointed that they are "dry" "not sweet enough" or "not enough 'filling'" but compared to many other brands of biscuit (cookies) they are a treat without being horrible for you!
I can't believe they are still around!! I love these cookies since I got teeth!! Love, love, love these golden treasures for over 4 decades!!
Exactly how the whole family likes it - not too sweet, just the right amount of buttery taste, and a touch of raisins. To us - this mix is just right.
This is not quite the same old fashioned Sunshine raisin cookie you remember as a kid, but as close as you will ever find. I really did enjoy them and plan to buy more. But I really wish those elves would make them again!! Overall a good buying experience and glad I got them.
I love these biscuits. In my opinion they are second best to the old Sunshine Rasin Biscuit that has been discontinued. Sunshine Biscuits would be 5 stars.
This is not as sweet as most Americans or British seem to like, but they are produced in Singapore. I had similar biscuits in Beijing with Strawberry filling. Great with coffee or tea.
Very dry and crumbled when received. Shipped to store to not have any challenges. Had to return due to condition of product.
Definitely no comparison to Crawford's Garibaldi biscuits. Texture is basically a compressed pile of crumbs.
These raisin (or sultana) biscuits do have a buttery taste, but they have very little filling - not enough to taste. I threw them away and ordered the Garibaldi version of these biscuits. Neither Khong Guan or Garibaldi biscuits matches the taste of the original Sunshine Raisin biscuits (they were discontinued long ago), but Garibaldi comes close. Khong Guan is simply all biscuit, and almost NO filling. Summary - do not buy this product if you like raisins - they are mostly biscuit.
Pretty sure these should taste a just a little bit moist and chewy but were completely dry and brittle. If you pinch it it crumbles like sand. Never had this brand before but ate them as a kid. Think i bought 3 packs of stale biscuits!
