For some reason I was expecting 2 not one. It helps, but itches in my ear. How far is too far in the ear canal-seems to have to go pretty far in?

it is loud enough but has a echoey sound. squeals on highest volume setting. i like the low profile on the ear. I will exchange this one because it intermittently goes off by itself.
