Kicker 46KISLOC2 Car Audio 2 Channel Line Output Converter w/ Remote Out Wire

I used this to add a powered subwoofer to a 2021 Highlander. I picked up a male/female cable that installs between the OEM head unit's speaker connections and it's wiring harness. I spliced the connections from this Kicker adapter for LR %26 RR speakers into that M/F cable. I plugged the cable between the head unit and it's wiring harness, a 2-chann RCA cable to reach the powered sub and extended the 12v signal wire to the powered subwoofer. Everything works well with this setup.

just finding a location to tap the speaker output so that you can connect it to it. was only the hard part!

Really easy install (used velcro on back to stick to carpet), delivers a good output to amplifier off the factory deck, and the remote turn on output works perfect.

this is a great product, the only issue is when you shut down it seems to get a surge of power don't affect its performance but it didn't do that when first installed?

The piece by kicker was not only a better quality converter than the last brand I purchased, but it was cheaper too somehow. This is definitely something I'd recommend.

It works great for adding an amplifier to my hybrid vehicle. I have tried other LOCs, but this one is the simplest and least expensive and is working well so far. I'm happy with this Kicker product.
