Made from a hard plastic, this is not a rubbery feeling at all, it’s a hard plastic that sounds hollow when tapped. Our dog has zero interest in chewing these. Door bell rings (ding dong) and two lights come up that are placed on both sides of the front door. Front door swings open by pulling toward the user, the doors do not swing into the castle. Comes with a huge variety of animals (8), two vehicles, two princesses, 14 pieces of furniture and 2 plates of small items (see pic) for playing if user is an older child. These items need to be removed from the plastic frame (see pic) to use. One set for each princess. Does come with batteries for the lights and doorbell. There are 3 button type batteries screwed into the castle wall to the top inside the wall above the door. These are 1.5 v type AG13 / LR44 (according to the label.) Granddaughter who is almost 3 years old played with the figures first and then went straight to the doorbell. It was difficult for her to get the cake to stay on top of the table, but that will change as she learns. She is able to attach the horse to the carriage. The princesses are just the right size for her hands. She immediately noticed that the arms and heads of the princesses move – they swivel. The hair and body do not move. It’s adorable that there is even a dragon figure! The feminist in me loves that there is no prince to “save” the princesses. Super vibrant colors that are in the mold, not painted on to the figures and castle. Very vivid purple, yellow, pink, teal.

This castle is a step up from your typical toddler set. It has some smaller accessories and more pieces included so it provides even more fun. It has princesses, animals, furniture, accessories and even a carriage. There’s plenty to keep your little one busy! This is going to make a fabulous gift for my daughter because she is obsessed with princesses. I love encouraging pretend play! This is a very affordable way to keep your little one entertained without screens! Definitely recommend.

Loving this princess playset, it is very sturdy and seems made of materials that will last along time, my almost 4 year old went nuts when she saw it and immediately took to playing and making up stories, if I can't find her she is usually in her room playing with this castle! The pieces and castle are all very colorful and seem made with quality materials that hold up and are perfect size for little hands! We highly recommend this product and feel you won't be disappointed!

We ordered this item looking for an extra birthday gift for my little one and we were not disappointed. It’s cute and makes sounds as well as comes with pieces. As a mom of three nothing is better than I toy that comes with multiple pieces so you don’t have to buy a ton of extra stuff. It’s adorable and my kids love playing with the castle.

My daughter has played with this castle for days. It comes with enough toys for many kids to play together. The castle comes with a carriage and car as well as furniture. The set also comes with animals. She has used these toys everywhere in the bath, outside, with the castle with other toys. It’s definitely a fun toy for any kid.

Play with 37 pieces. My young children love playing with this set. There is plenty of items to where both my little girls can play together with this set. It also has a working doorbell. They only thing is the animals seem a little to big compared the the people in the set but it doesn't bother my children so it's not really a big deal. It was easy to open and easy to set up. Great set for play.

So very cute! My three and four-year-olds really love this Kid Connection Princess Castle Play Set. There are two princesses, which worked well for my girls since there are two of them. They love how there is a car and a horse and carriage. Along with all the animals, it also has some furniture to decorate the castle. The doorbell even makes cute twinkly noises when you push it. Overall I think this princess castle is great for the little ones.

My 5 year old daughter loved this set. It's a hodgepodge though. We were trying to figure out a good back story for all the pieces included and it's weird. There are 2 princess pieces, some vehicles, some furniture and a lot of random animals that are a bigger size than the humans. They are colorful and the castle has plenty of room. My daughter loved the button that makes this loud sparkling noise and lights up. I wish it had a few different sounds but there's only one and it's loud. There was a lot of annoying packaging the zip ties were very difficult to cut.

Although the plastic feels a bit cheap-y, especially the door, we loved the amount of accessories this came with. All of the furniture and little accessories kept my 3 year old busy for hours. The door lights actually light up and make a little doorbell noise which is fun. I think this castle would be great for a 3-5 year old. Some of the pieces are tiny, so I would be worried about a younger child with some of these pieces. Overall, a good buy for the price.

This play castle set comes with a few pieces of furniture for the castle including a bed, vanity, sink and a couch. However it does come with two princesses, you get to chose who gets the bed. Each princess get a set of accessories including a purse, brush, wand and mirror. And two vehicle options a car and a horse with carriage attached. All it expected. What I was not expecting was the 6 or 7 animal friends that came with it holy cow. The door bell works! It lets off a magical chime instead of a typical doorbell sound. I personally would have rather had an extra bed than the extra animals. But that’s just me. My three year old has no problem with just the one bed. She has played with this everyday since receiving it. She does get frustrated with the pieces falling over so easily, they are pretty light weight plastic so they fall easily.
