I love this drum set and so does my daughter! If your thinking about it go ahead and get it you won't regret it. My daughter is 4 and very tall for her age and its still a good fit for her. The joy and excitement of getting and using this drum set was awesome to see! She loves playing her own drums and I love that they aren't so loud that they grate your nerves. They are light weight and she can carry them all by herself so we can jam out on the front porch or she can take them to her bedroom and close her door and I can't even hear them over the tv and my apartment is small y'all! Don't get me wrong they out out plenty sound without being an annoyance lol. This is a must have to encourage young minds and imaginations. The set has a bass drum with plastic peddle, and two smaller drums sit on top with a symbol. It was super easy to put together and it is also easy to disassemble completely making it safer for toddlers. It also comes with a set of plastic drum sticks and a stool. The stool is a little on the small side but it was also very easy to assemble, just pop the two leg pieces on it took all of five seconds. This drum set is absolutely kid tested and mom approved, hands down the best drum set for younger kids. Your ears will thank you for getting this age appropriate set
Is really cute, it came in a box with well packed, no tools is needed to put together, it took me about 10 minutes to assemble it. Love the color very bright, and the sound is loud, my son love it, he play with this toy very often.
This is a cute little drum set and my son loves it! He has a ton of fun playing with it, and loves to pretend he's the drummer in a band. It makes a good amount of noise, but is definitely quieter than I imagined it would be. The drums sound fairly realistic to what a real drum set would sound like, and it even has a foot pedal that attaches to the larger drum. It's a good size, not too big and not too small. It doesnt take up a ton of room, but is big enough for kids around ages 3-6 to sit and play with. It's also really light and easy to move around. It was incredibly easy to put together and didn't require any tools. I had the whole thing put together in less than 5 minutes. The little seat feels very sturdy, and I think the drum set will last a long time with proper use.
Since my husband was a teenager he has been playing the drums and it is one of his passions, that is why as soon as I saw this Kid Connection 9-Piece Metal Drum Set I knew I needed to get it for our 3 years old son. The second our little son saw it it was love at first sight! He can't have enough about it and is always excited about “daddy-son lessons time”. It has become a new way to bond even more for them and I can't be more happy about it!
My grandson is 2 and he loves playing the drums. I love that he likes music and wants to play the drums. These are perfect for him. They stay at my house my daughter would not like the noise but its better then when he wants to play the pots and pans
Ok. When I chose this item I looked at the age recommendations, it said 4+ on the box. I have a seven year old who loves drums, I thought this would be fun for him. However it is not very big. I have attached photo graphs to show the size based off a standard height paper towel. It is not made for a bigger child at all. I would say age recommendations based on its size should be more for an active 1 year old to 3 maybe 4. My niece is a taller 4 year old and she likes to play with it but again she is boarder line too tall. My son who is 7 said he feels like a giant next to it. But as far as quality, it sounds good for a kids drum set, it is sturdy and pretty well made. The beats are good. For a kids drum set, my kids were actually able to sit down with their instruments and make it flow together. So again for a kids drum set the sound really surprised me and I would give that 5 stars. I honestly just wish it was big enough. For a starter drum set for a young child its perfect because most drum sets for kids, they don't really carry a beat or even sound like a real drum set, but if played the right way this one will surprise you. The colors are vibrant and its very pretty to look at. the seat is just a small plastic seat, I would not recommend anyone thinking it could be used as a step stool. It was easy to put together, and came with all the pieces. Overall my son likes it but wishes it was bigger, the size makes it hard for him to hit the bass with his foot. He is familiar with drum sets. I think the age limit is correct in the accuracy of a starter drum set (sound, getting prepared for real drums later) is accurate 4+ but the size of the drum set is not accurate based on the age limit. Any child over 4 is probably going to feel like a giant trying to play the drums on it.
This is very cool. It is very small for a small child. I had my Nephew play with us and he loves just beating the drum. Couple times when he's hitting it I thought it was going to break. It did take a good amount of beating. I definitely would recommend this to give to a small Child.
The box says not for kids under 3 years.. but I think that's a stretch. It is very small. The seat is only a little taller than a can of soda. I personally dont think it makes "real drum sounds" like it says on the box. The seat slides a lot if it's not on carpet. My son does love it though. He just stands when he uses it.
This set comes with a large drum, two smaller drums that go on the side of the larger one, a foot peddle, a symbol, two drum sticks, and a stool to sit on. The quality of the drum set is overall good. The drum set has held together nicely without very many dents. After only 10 minutes of my toddler playing with the drum sticks one of the sticks bent. The symbol has hit marks in it from being hit. The drums are made of metal with plastic rings around them that are held together with plastic pieces that snap into place. It is light-weight but heavy enough that it doesn't fall by itself. The stool is a nice addition to this set, but it is on the smaller side. My three-year-old is almost too small for the stool. I like that this drum set isn't overly loud when my son is drumming. It is loud enough to hear, but not loud enough to be annoying. Overall this was easy to put together. I was able to put it together without instructions in less than 10 minutes. After it was together I realized there were instructions on the side of the box. It would have been helpful if it was in a more obvious spot, but I was able to figure it out without it. My main issue with this drum set is how easily my toddler can take it apart. There is a plastic piece that screws in on the very top and holds the symbol in place. My toddler has unscrewed that and completely lost that piece. Thankfully, the symbol stays in place for the most part only occasionally falling off. The side drums are screwed on, but my three-year-old is smart enough to unscrew the side drums and take the plastic pieces off the drums. Not only can my toddler unscrew it, but over time it slowly loosens on its own and I have to remember to tightening them every few days to prevent it from coming off completely.

Not only is it annoying to keep putting the drum back together, but it's dangerous for me to have small screws laying around the house. I have a 10-month-old. She still puts everything into her mouth. If I don't realize my son has taken apart this drum soon enough, my baby could potentially swallow the small pieces.
