My kids love the sink

Jenniferrae June 16, 2021

My kids absolutely love this sink and so do I. My youngest kids are 3, 4, and 5 years old and they use the sink daily. We have 2 of the original versions of the sinks and they still look and work like new. Having this newer version I see it is much better. It takes less water, the water flow is stronger, the soap pump is a great addition (it doesn't use soap it pulls water from the tank) and the way to fill it with water is much easier. I place a large towel on the ground under each sink on my kitchen floor and my kids wash the play dishes while I cook and clean. It uses 3 AA batteries and if it like the original sink they last a very long time. I use distilled water because I have hard water and don't want the pump to get calcium build up and break. I do save the water and reuse it several times to save on water.

Cute n functional

Joy June 5, 2021

Received the Spark Sink and its a rectangular shaped tabletop sink. It has a functional sink that runs water with the switch of the lever. Also there's a soap dispenser that dispenses out soap. Which all has to be put in by you. It does not come with soap refills. The cups bowls plates and sponge all fits securely in the dish rack which is also removable. There are utensils too. Nice depth of the sink so when water and dishes are in there. All a nice addition to a child's pretend cooking and cleaning

Hours of fun

Kimky111 June 17, 2021

My grandchildren, age 4 and 6, love this play sink. It comes with a sponge for cleaning and dishes to clean. Just install 3 AA batteries, push down the sink lever and water comes from the faucet. The 2.5 cups of water I added is recycled from the faucet. This sink won't run over.

Very cute, dishes are the fun chores now.

NikkiF June 10, 2021

Relatively big sink and excellent water pump. Comes with several little play cups, plates, and silverware. Can be pretty messy with the water so might be best used outside or even in the tub. Comes with a cute little yellow sponge also, but watch out that your kids don't rip it apart and put it in their mouths, its not the most durable sponge, just for play. I really like the fact that all the plastic is smooth and not rigid. Sometimes you have to take sand paper to the plastic to smooth out the rough plastic ends so noone gets scratched but this plastic is higher quality.

Sparks the imagination and creates so much fun

Tanyakirk74 June 5, 2021

SPARK + CREATE + IMAGINE, three very telling words that have been used to describe this SINK that I think are perfect for it. The sink itself is made more durable than I had anticipated plus it's larger sized. It has been designed with four wide and short feet or legs that lay flat and sturdy on flat surface spaces. It's height was perfect for my twin Granddaughters, age 5, and 7 years old Grandson to play with while it sat on the kitchen countertop or table. It seems very durabley constructed compared to other products that we've owned. Also, larger in size as well which are two very welcoming design choices. It has a working water faucet and a soap dispenser. Removing the white container filling it with water plugging it back up so water doesn't leak and placing it back into the formed caddy section, are all easily done. We've had no trouble with water leaking out. The faucet turns on and off by their tiny little hands easily. Shockingly, REAL water pours out of the faucets spout a d falls down I to the skink basin. The soap dispenser also works when filled with water. Pumping out just like soap, the kids absolutely have a good time playing with. The sink also comes with a dish drainer, child size, cups, plates bowls and a real sponge to wash the with. The dishes and other accessories are all made extremely well a d appropriately sized for kiddos ages 3 plus, in my opinion. I feel that this product has a very affordable price point for a kid's toy that Sparks the imagination to create and play. There is no hazardous chemicals to add, no tools needed to put together or other items needed for them to play besides water. This toy is simple to take and play then easily store away.

Great surprise sink!!

Spice217 June 5, 2021

I love this Spark sink from Walmart. It have a lot of attention to details.. If you look at the sink "Drainer" its the Walmart logo :) I loveee that it's a never ending water flow without actually wasting water. You can put about 1 quart of water and your little one would really believe they're playing with an open flow of water From an actual pipe. The Soap section was great..it even have the Walmart "Great value" brand on it. The only thing I did not like is...the soap and water tank is connected so you can't put Actual soap in the soap bottle..only water gets pump out...because there's no bottom...just a bottom with a hole cut for the straw. PLUS!!: ALL the dishes changes colors ..the water temperature have to be warm to a little hot. It' turns all the colored dishes into white. Then it changes back to it's original colors. It takes 3 double AA batteries. So far the water hasn't messed up the batteries Compartments. Pictures included..so you have an idea. The utensils doesn't change colors though..ALL the dishes does.

Super cute and fun for toddler

Princes26 June 2, 2021

I wanted to give this little sink 5 stars because my daughter absolutely LOVES it, but I can't because it came with a missing piece - the part that locks in next to the faucet for the soap dispenser. They sent me the pump but not the body of the soap, so that part doesn't work. Hopefully it was just my kit that came that way. Anyway, this messy toy is loads of fun for my 3 year old. She is currently playing with it and she hasn't stopped for 40 minutes straight. Mom win! I put a towel down on the kitchen floor and she's loving playing with the sponge and pretending to wash dishes, or even just dipping the cups in and out and pouring water. The faucet runs real water and she's having a blast playing with it and putting it on and off on her own. It does require some light supervision because it can be quite messy - but hey it's just water. Super cute toy!

Hits and misses

mystinamarie July 8, 2021

Pros: -My 5 year old was thrilled to play with running water -Comes with lots of accessories like the dish basket, sponge, dishes -The dishes change color with warm water -The little soap pump really works -The faucet really works and can change the water pattern -Good customer service to receive a replacement Cons: -The first one we received, in a sealed brand new package was missing the soap dispenser and no batteries -Second one had soap dispenser and batteries (but shows inconsistency) -Water pours out of the faucet handle when it is on, even if at minimum water line and totally level -The faucet area doesn't really click into anything, so it moves around a lot as little hands turn on/off the water and pump the soap -It appears the water just goes into all the components, including the battery pack -Stainless steel screws everywhere, which will rust soon with it being a toy used with water All in all, this is a fun toy. When they went viral a few years back I wanted to get one for my daughter but was unwilling to pay the marked up resale prices. I'm happy she has a chance to play with water in a fun, imaginative way. She loves washing the dishes, washing her hands, and washes her baby dolls, pretending like it's a bath. She loves playing kitchen and cooking, using the little dishes to stir things. This type of imagination play is so great for their development, so I am happy she loves this toy and the added thrill of REAL water to keep this fun and interesting. That being said, I'm less than happy about it leaking so bad and having such inconsistency of missing parts and two different ones arriving in different ways. If I bought this for a child's gift for their birthday or Christmas I would feel awful if it arrived brand new missing parts like our first one. The company sent a replacement, though, so that was good service and now my daughter has 2 sets of dishes from both sets to play and have fun with. I would probably buy it for her for the reasons of imagination and a contained way to play with water. But I feel like some improvements of how the faucet fits onto the sink, as well as the handle leaking so badly should be made. If these were better, I would feel comfortable giving this 5 stars for a great, fun toy!

A great idea, flawed execution

mightybee June 17, 2021

I'm really torn on this. On one hand it's been one of my kids' absolute favorite toys of all time. They love that they can actually turn the water on and off. They love filling it with a little bit of dish soap and washing the cute dishes over and over again. It's inspired tons of adorable imaginative play games for them and I love that! It's an absolutely fantastic idea for a toy. The downside is it's not as well made as I'd prefer. The battery is located right by the water well and as much as we tried to get the battery cover to sit flush it let water into the battery compartment. It stopped working after about a week of use. Such a downer! There was also a soap dispenser pictured on the box, but ours did not include that, which was a bummer because the sink has a place for it and the kids were disappointed not to have it.
