Smaller than expected-with pros and cons.
This is not quite as I expected, but I anticipate that it will still do the job. I missed the very last line of the fine print in the description. The cup itself is a total of 3x3x3 inches. the picture on the packaging makes it look much bigger. The cup itself is devided into two levels. each is approximately 1.5 inches high. The description makes it seem like this would be suitable to keep a bug for a week. Unless it is a very small bug, I don't think that it would be ideal for that. There's not much space to create a habitat. I have not actually used it yet, but just looking at it, here are some pros and cons that I anticipate. Pros: -Magnifying lenses are built in so that you can see the insect with greater detail. -There are built in measurements to measure the size of the insect. -The small size is going to limit the movement of some insects, making them easier to see details. -Small size means that it does not take up much space, Cons: -Magnifying lenses are built in. Be careful if using in the sun. -The lid looks like it could be a little challenging to get lined up and locked on tight. -The small size is going to limit how this product can be used.

Cute but not worth the money
Container is cute and my son likes it but it's nearly impossible to get the lid off and on. This frustrates us both.
