I had always wanted one of the battery operated cars but always bypassed them. When I saw the '57 Chev Belair ( I had a '55) I had to get for the two small great grandkids 3 yr. and 22 mo. They don't quit get the concept of steering....the 3 yr. wants to get out and move it :) It didn't state how many pounds it would hold so I called and they said 66 pds. The 11 yr. old and the 8 yr. old had no problem with it but they are small boned.....I even sat in it for a photo :) I'm 67....cutest thing ever...(the car, not me :). It does fit both the two smallest as for seating.

This was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She's is three and can reach the pedals with no problems. It's so cool looking and on one else had one like hers. Battery stays charged up. Excellent toy!

I recently purchased this car for my 2-year old niece and she loves it. Probably a little big for her now, but she'll grow into within the next couple of months.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago and my grandson received it on Sunday and he loved it since it looks just like his grandfathers car. The only thing is the windshield will not stay in place. So we are going to clue and screw it on.

Got this for my daughters birthday and she loves it. It is so unique, odds are that no one else will have one of these. It has a switch where I can change it from slow mode to fast mode, and another switch to go from fwd to reverse. The only thing it doesn't have is a remote. I've seen some that have remote controls for the parents so if the child gets too far away you can turn them around or shut it down. But over all we couldn't be happier. :)

What a great product for $199. This is a well built, simple, reliable toy. Full battery charge lasts about an hour, a little less if you're off the sidewalk. Drives pretty well on grass, extremely well on pavement. My 3.5 year old is pretty tall for her age and has room to grow into it. One feature I really like is the lockable speed control. There's a slow/fast switch that is behind a pair of screws, so you can cater the experience to the age of the driver. Simple forward/backward lever, single pedal. Really straightforward. You turn a pair of thumbscrews to remove the seat and access the battery - wish there was a port on the side that didn't require taking off the seat, but it's not that big of a deal. The car is sensitive to weight. As you approach 60 pounds, the speed and battery life really take a hit. My neighbor's 6 year old took it for a spin, and it's definitely not meant for that age. I would say it's good for 2-4/5 year olds, depending on height & weight. Overall, great product for the right size child. Design is great, quality is solid, and has a very simple interface. Highly recommend.

I bought this classic 57 Chevy Bel Air play car for my son for his birthday. He was beyond excited when he woke up to open this on the morning of his bday! He feels super cool driving it and we get compliments constantly by neighbors and cousins are sometimes fighting over who gets to drive next :) Our entire family has really enjoyed watching him enjoy his new toy. We've always wanted to get hom a motorized car and we're so happy we went with a classic car model over the typical jeep or batman car. Awesome purchase and he will getting lots of miles on this little unit. HIGHLY RECOMEND!! :)

Only gripe.....almost impossible to get to the battery for charging by removing seat. Seat latch(s) are not designed very well. Everything else is fine and its fast.
