I love that it's a plug-in unit , so I don't have to worry about constantly changing batteries, but also includes AA backup batteries , which is a huge plus in case the power goes out . Installation was super easy just plug it into the wall and it's ready to go . The design is simple and compact, so it doesn't stand out too much in the room. What I appreciate most is the added safety for my home and family. Carbon monoxide it's something you can't see or smell, so having a reliable alarm like this is essential. The alert system feels Loud and effective which makes me confident it would do its job in an emergency. This is one of the best ones that I've seen. It plugs into your outlet there should be no maintenance no trouble with power unless you lose electricity, and there's a green indicator right to let you know that it is working. You can test the product and see it sensitivity and know that your family is safe!

It has a battery backup (comes with batteries) and the sensor times are as follows: 70ppm: 60-240 min, 150 ppm: 10-50 min, 400 ppm: 4-15 min. The test button works as it should and it seems like a well made product.
