Kidde Hardwired Interconnectable Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector with AA Battery Backup and Voice Alerts

Arrived quickly. Replaced my older models. Even though they still use a 3 pin connector, the new model would not plug in due to a design change. You need an adapter or to change to the plug included.

It was well packaged and was easy to install into my existing ceiling bracket which already had a Kidde quick connector (double check your prior brand for compatibility). Overall seems to be good quality and effective as my house has not burned down.

Good product. Straight forward installation, but I should note that I needed to totally remove the wiring and mounting plate to install this one. It was easy, but some might not think so.

Sleep great knowing that my family is in good hands with this top of the line smoke detector. Voice alert is reassurance!

Easy replacement option…. Sad my original ones died after 2 years!! Hopefully these new ones are better

Replaced expired Kidde alarm. This one fit seamlessly. Did need a separely purchased connector adapter to avoid wiring again. Works as indicated. Paired with other Kidde connected alarms effortlessly.

it does fit in same rack as i have. i am a senior who needes 6 replacements. only 10 years and nothing matches the same rack!!

Smoke and CO2 Units need to replaced every 10 years from the date of Manufacture. My Walmart unit was manufactured 2 years earlier s now I have to replace this unit in 8 years and not 10 years. So although Wal-Mart had a good price this unit was in inventory for 2 years so I am actually paying more based on the shorter replacement time.

Have to take alarm down to change batteries. Last one I had could change them while in place. Could not tell the difference between the two in the product descriptions.
