Kidde Permanent 5-Key Keysafe, Spin Dial, Titanium Color

I put this in a secret place with a spare key so that my neighbor and my kids could get into my home when needed and I am supremely pleased at the great quality of this locking key box. I have already told friends about it so they could get one for themselves.

This shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition. Extremely competitive price for this little safe, shopped around before buying. Read the directions carefully before attempting to set the combo, the little card acts as the screwdriver and will stay fastened inside the safe on top of the buttons with the arrows. Get this under a good light so you can see how to turn the arrows you want to use as your combination numbers. The markings are fairly subtle, so look for them carefully. Combination is used in opening and also in reclosing. Once this safe is bolted into place, it's pretty good security, but don't expect it to be perfect. It's not for holding the key to the Crown Jewels. A very determined thief could defeat this safe, and most others as well. If it's in a carefully concealed spot and under a monitored camera, that's much better than putting a key under a doormat, using a phony rock, etc. Don't tell people about it, and don't use it in front of anyone.

The Kidde Permanent 5-Key Keysafe could be used for so many things. I have seen things like this on houses for sale, for realtors to get the keys, or for businesses, for extra ones. We are using it for our UTV business, for when clients need to come and pick up their keys to take their unit home after hours. With the spin dial, it opens easily and the Titanium color fits in with everything. I love that you can change the code often and it's simple to use. Great quality and we are probably going to buy another one for an emergency key at a relatives house. We love it!

The Kidde Permanent 5-Key Keysafe, Spin Dial, is super easy to set up and use. It took minutes to add our code. Only complaint is that the code cannot have any repeat numbers. So that was tricky. It is very sturdy and durable. It is quite heavy and will really last. Great for storing keys for when we need it

We chose this particular keysafe for keeping a spare key outside near our backdoor for those times we get locked out. My husband mounted it in an inconspicuous location and paired it with a code familiar that is common to each family member. It is very easy to use and opens immediately upon entering the code. It is small enough that unless you know where it is, it's unnoticed.

We've always hidden our Emergency Key in the garage, simply placing it in an envelope, which we then put in our tool box. Now, with the Kidde, we've bolted the Keysafe to a metal shelf, and then placed boxes in front of it. We also placed it on the lowest shelf, making if exceptionally difficult to locate. Now, we feel secure, knowing our neighbor can access our home, if the need ever arises and others would have an exceptionally difficult time locating our spare key, let alone breaking into the vault.

Holds keys, key cards or whatever you want that's small enough safely. This is great for when we go out of town & need to have access for someone coming over to take care of our animals. I could see this being handy for people that have rental properties. It's heavy and strong, quality looks and feels like it will last a lifetime. There's difficulty at first just trying to figure out how to get it to work, the directions could be better. Overall, would definitely recommend.

I have never seen anything like this before. it looks pretty neat and seems sturdy. We still plan to bolt it where it won't be noticeable because I'm not 100% sure it is indestructible. Love the idea of hiding keys this way. Much better than just under something!

The key safe arrived in a timely manner. It was packaged nice and delivered without any damage. The key safe is easy to mount. All the hardware came with the device. It will hold several keys. It has push pinkey pad which turns very easily. You can change the key code as needed. It is very secure and small enough to install in a hidden area if you want to keep it hidden. I would recommend it if someone is needing a security key safe.

I have repeatedly tried to set the combination on this, even asked family members to try it. We cannot get the latch to come down completely. The directions are not very clear. The buttons on the back which you need to turn to set the combination are not very clear to know you've done it correctly. Thankfully I didn't screw the box part onto my wall yet, because I can't get the door part back on.
