This new product literally takes one step. Plug it in! Add batteries if you want a back up power source. And you can connect to your phone for peace of mind when you're away. I set it up near my gas stove. I'm definitely buying another one for the bedroom.

I love how the display shows the alarm status which makes it very easy to know that the problem is when it goes off. This alarm is also much more sensitive than competitor alarms which makes me feel much safer that it will alert me when need be. The size fits my outlet perfectly. Overall, this is a great product!

It plugs right into the wall, so there's no drilling, no mounting and no fussing with batteries to get it up and running. It just fits neatly into any outlet and does its job. Great for anyone who wants reliable carbon monoxide protection without the hassle of a big installation project. The digital display is a nice touch, too. I love walking by and seeing the “Clr” message!

We live in an old house that previous owners did some DIY renos on, and I always have fears of something old malfunctioning, whether our fireplace or a gas line. This being able to detect gas is why I installed it near our old gas fireplace. While it's warm now, I know it will give me peace of mind in the cooler months when our gas usage increases. It is also fairly small, so it fits nicely into our baseboard outlet (I think these are now against code, but they're common in old houses, and bulky plug-ins often won't fit. The battery beep sensing night time is an incredible feature. The loud beep will only go off during the day if it's for a non-emergency. This is a great product and a long-trusted brand of mine, and I'm happy to have it keeping us safe!

The directions say that the mobile app is required for use, but appears to be working without it. I have not downloaded it because I don't want another account to manage. This is not good for a bedroom if you are sensitive to light because one is on.
