I love my chessboard. I'm just a beginner trying to learn and my first board is cool. I play with my father who is trying to relearn, but it gives us something to do together. I recommend this product to anyone who needs or wants a chessboard. 5 stars.

This chess board is great for beginners, especially children! The magnetic feature works well and keeps the pieces in place when “little” wiggle bumps happen. Had to order because it wasn't carried in the store but it was delivered in one day. It's has nice details that most don't, like the storage case is built in and folding is easy. For the quality I put 4 stars because the checker pieces do not have a magnet nor do they fit in the foam securely. I believe they know this detail because there is a storage bag for them. So, other than the checkers storage part it works well and I think is a great starter set. We got it as a gift for our friends and they find it fun!

This is a board of convenience and well thought out! I would only change the fact that the checkers don't stay in the form fitted under board and love the magnetic properties of the chess pieces the checkers aren't magnetic though... also Could have been a delivery oopsy but one metal board cam unglued so right now half my board isn't magnetic and the glue we used smells and is now very fumey 🫣. But we still have enjoyed this so much the handcrafted perfectly imperfect pieces are so cool. I love the thouful storage and magnet board! black Friday price I had just enough to seek it out when my son asked for one! So pleased with all the flaws and perfections!!!

Everything was perfect except it was missing the dark King piece.
