KidKraft Addison Wooden Twin-Size Bed for Children, Espresso

This bed has exceeded my expectations! It's very sturdy, low to the ground and definitely not made out of cheap wood or partical board. This bed is perfect for toddlers or young children. The dark finish is real nice and my son loves it. I would recommend this bed to everyone!

I already have one for my older child, and bought this for my younger, since I like it so much. She transitioned straight from a crib to this. It's low enough where she won't get hurt if she falls out, but it's also big enough for me to comfortably lie with her for bedtime stories. Love that we aren't wasting money on a bed she'll use for a year. My son has been in this bed for 2 years already and while I'm sure he'll want something higher eventually, he's still very happy in it and I don't see him needing something bigger for a while.

This was a gift for my great grandson his mother put the bed together and had no trouble she loved it the part she liked the most was it is close to the floor for her two year old to get in and out.

My 3YO son LOVES this bed! True Espresso color matches his other furniture perfectly. Very easy to put together, we didn't have any issues with boards splitting or holes being misaligned. I was concerned at first because not all the platform slats are screwed down but it does not rattle at all. The platform slats are all connected with thin fabric strips which makes spacing/installation very easy. Seems sturdy enough for an adult to sit on (unlike other inexpensive beds).

So far the bed is great. Instructions are super vague so it helps if you've done some BYO furniture before. Super easy to get a piece i backwards because they don't point it out anywhere. Bed is sturdy and a great height for our 3 yr old

The bed itself is great. It's the perfect height for my nearly 3 year old, but it's high enough that it's easy for an adult to get in and out as well. The color is just not even close to an espresso from any other store that I've ever seen. It's closer in color to my old cherry brown dresser than the espresso crib that we had before.

The headboard pieces arrived with scratches. I would not say this color is a true espresso. I ordered espresso to go with furniture that I already had and it doesn't match. The other pieces are all from different companies and look well together but this does not.

I bought this bed for my oldest child a couple years ago and absolutely love it. Great quality, sturdy & has held up very well. 5 stars for that bed. I patiently waited for almost a year for this bed to be back in stock so I could buy one for my younger child. Was so excited it finally was back in stock. Didn't even mind that the price increased significantly... until I put the bed together. The wood slats for the base are extremely rough, covered in splinters & getting stuck all in the bottom of my expensive mattress. But, my major issue with the new bed is the headboard. The holes were drilled on the wrong side during production & now instead of a beautiful sleek headboard that is pleasing to the eyes... I get to stare at a bunch of ugly silver screw-looking things... I am BEYOND disappointed. :(
