I love this reading nook! First of all, it is super easy to assemble. I actually spend an evening putting it together myself and it was not difficult at all (super mom!). The instructions are easy to follow and each piece are labeled with a number so you know exactly which piece to put where. We got the white and the gray cushioned seats compliments the design well. We are actually using it as a storage/bench so my 2 year has a spot to hit when putting on shoes. I do wish the cubbies on the bottom are would fit a standard storage bin but overall, very happy with this item. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review.

I've had this item for a few months now. Love it. Assembly was easy enough with one person (me). Couldn't say for sure how long it took, but I do put together two pieces over the course of tea and a visit from my mother in law so it couldn't have been too long. I expect it to hold up easily with one child. If there's ever a second child in my future I do expect it to start looking a little worse for wear. Some of our trailer board books don't fit standing up in the cubbies, which is a shame (though he tears them out as soon as I put them away so it isn't a big deal). I wouldn't say that's a negative, but it is something to be aware of. The cushion is here in place with velcro. So far my son has ripped it partially of but has always out it back in place (I suspect to tear it off again). He also desperately wants to climb the edges. He's a bit younger than the intended user so this isn't a design flaw but just something to be mindful of when purchasing for young children.

Awesome bookcase nook for young kids. Please check size dimension when purchasing! It's smaller than you might think but this is perfect for my toddler-aged child. Not sure if this would fit a bigger kid, eg someone aged 10 years old. I guess it would depend on their size for their age. Regardless, check the size. Got his in the espresso finish, love the coloring. The cushions are nice and comfy. Made of heavy wood. Supports 100+ pounds of weight. Love the multi-usefulness of this bookcase + seating + shelf + tabletop. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Very well made piece of furniture. It's the perfect size for my 3 year old daughter and a piece that she will grow into. It goes well with the decor in her room and holds lots of her favorite books.

Very cute bookshelf with a cozy seat for a little one. The bookcase holds a lot of books and is an attractive addition to the room. It's easy to assemble.

The item was easy to assemble and looked exactly as pictured. the size of it was a little bit smaller than expected, but it's the perfect size for my toddler. the item is well built and sturdy. My little boy loves it and cuddles into the cushion seat comfortably. The only thing is that while heavy in the box, once assemble, the piece is actually pretty light in weight unless you put a lot of things on it... since we don't have too many books on the shelves yet, my boy can actually move the nook around a bit...he likes to hide things behind it....

Very poor quality. Brown while trying to assemble and KidKraft wants me to ship it back at my expense :(
