I love this little kitchen. It's very small however, I actually bought it for my 10 month old baby. She'll most likely outgrown it at 3 maybe 4 for anyone older I wouldn't recommend because of the size but I do know kidkraft has bigger play kitchens my 10 year old sister has one and it's perfect for her. This kitchen is good quality and super cute! I spray painted all the silver accents gold and covered the countertop in marble print film so it looks like it has a marble countertop.
We bought this kitchen for our son for his 2nd birthday and he loves it. He's been playing with it almost non-stop for days. It also looks great in his playroom. We chose this one over other kitchens because of it's size- it's not intrusive on the play space- but still has a lot of features- the phone, microwave and fridge in addition to the stove. It looks a lot nicer than a big plastic kitchen and it seems to be pretty sturdy and well-made.
I will start off by saying this kitchen took my husband 3 hours to build! It came in hundreds of pieces and each pieces need special screws, so if you use the wrong screw at the wrong time, youll find yourself taking it all apart for the one single screw. But each piece came with a circle number labeled sticker stuck to it, which is hard to take off it either leaves a bunch of white pieces or a sticky circle. However all that being said this kitchen is amazing! Its big enough for two kids to play side by side, taller then my one year old cantbut my three year old can reach the top but can still use the microwave and my three year old can reach everything. Its very sturdy/heavy, its definitely not something the kids can pull over on themselfs easily. The cabinets in them actually have ALOT of space to fill up and all in all its an adorable kitchen that the kids absolutely love which makes the hours building worth it. If your looking for something sturdy, durable, big but not too big and worth the money then this is definitely the kitchen to get. Its a cute kitchen with lots of storage, which most play kitchen have little to no room to actually put the toy food. Worth every bit of building!
I already had this kitchen in pink when my oldest was a toddler, I sadly sold it and to my surprise would have another little one 10 years later. The quality has not diminished on these kid craft kitchens in my opinion. I love this play kitchen the only thing is it takes forever to build. I would recommend using a drill because using the little screwdriver it comes with would take even longer.
I read other reviews prior to purchasing this product so I knew that there would be extensive set up but found it to be easy to do with two people. Most of it could have been assembled with one person, but two made it easier and faster. My daughter (almost 2) LOVES her kitchen. She has a hard time turning the stove knobs but I had read about that in the reviews also and expected it. It has held up to her slamming doors and yanking on parts and pieces quite well. I know it is something she will play with for years to come. Love it!
We got this for my 2 year old daughter and she loved this kitchen. It provides hours of fun for her and expands her imagination. My mom and I had put this together slowly over the course of 2 days and the instructions were quite easy and straight forward. I would highly recommend this to kids over 2 years old. It’s well built for the price point that will last many years of rough play.
This kitchen is adorable! It was a pain to set up however. A small emblem was missing as well. Hopefully I can get Walmart to send me one otherwise the door will be left with two holes in it. Also I was expecting this kitchen to be bigger, unfortunately it's a little small for my 4 1/2 year old. She loves it though, but size wise it would better suit a 2 year old.
This product took a handyman 4 hours to put together. It is small, so it is great for a small space, but a little wobbly. Based on how long it took to put together, I don't know if I recommend.
My daughter loves the playset. The instructions could be better written. One part section has the wrong picture on it and the hardware package with all the screws was not marked gret because there were screws that were marked exactly the same in the package, but some of them had the heads painted to match the cabinet color, but the instructions don't tell you where to use the painted ones. All in all it's not hard to put together it just take a lot of time. There are a lot of little bits of hardware that you need to attach first and then assemble the unit together. It took me about 1.5 hrs to put together. The other issue I have is that there is no door catch for the microwave door so it swings open but all the other doors have a catch to keep them closed. Very weird oversight in design or I am just missing the parts and I don't see it in the instructions.
This little kitchen is beautiful, the vintage design is very cool. The package was very well protected. No weird smell at all. However the assemble takes forever. The kitchen has so many small parts and pieces that sometimes can be a little bit confusing. Also instructions at the end were not so clear. My husband was very patient to put it together in less than 2 1/2 hour. After the kitchen put together we realized one the hinged doors didn't close properly. Second of all this model is so small, and I don't mean compact. The kitchen is very small and hard for my 3 and 7 years old to play together.
