Got these for my grandson and he loves them. He is too little to build with them yet but I can see him playing with them for years to come. They are very durable and easy ti snap together. A little disappointed though because 96 pieces is not enough to build something as big as what is in the picture. Could have used a few more blocks.
My daycare children have been into building forts, but having problems with them being knocked down. I purchased these blocks for fort building and we have used them to build forts, a lemonade stand, and other structures to play in and on at least twice a day, since the blocks have arrived. Well worth the money and enjoyed by all the children I care for ages 11 months to five years.
This is my second purchase of these blocks, my grands love to be creative building with large legos.
Love these! They're big and easy to connect. I don't have to be concerned about the children putting these in their mouth!
My 7 year old Grandson Absolutely LOVES these Jumbo Blocks. Keeps him busy building all kinds of things. Needed help at first, but now he can handle it. More studier than the cardboard Gigi Bloks. Now I'll need to get some stick on-off Stickers so he can stick on to the Blocks while he's making a house or robots, etc.
My kids love them and it seems safe and not so hard and sharp :)
Got these for my 22 month old for Christmas and she seems a little mixed about them. She's able to stack them and it's easy for her to unlock each one (which go together nicely) but she doesn't seem too interested in them. That being said, her siblings of 7 and 6 love these. They build pretend dog houses for their plush toys, walls for their dart shooter guns, and my daughter even built stairs for her dog to get on the couch among all. 96 doesn't look like as many as I thought it would, but the opportunities are quite endless with this set and they come with three plastic plates that fit along side the blocks that have grooves so you can have windows! The price is justified in the amount of play you get out of these that doesn't involve a screen, just complete imagination. (Also includes a booklet on ideas to build)
I have an older set of these--bought 10 years ago. The quality is definitely lower in this newer set. You can squeeze the sides and they bend. The old set is rock solid. Arrived a week late.
I purchased this based upon the photo of what my son could build. No other description was in the ad, besides piece size. This photo requires the jumbo set, not the standard set. The photo of the dinosaur requires a jumbo plus a beginner set. Therefore only giving a 3 star rating.
These blocks break easy. If you expect to be able to make the fort as pictured...it won't happen with the size of blocks and amount. I'm highly disappointed these were so small compared to the picture given the price of these. However with that said my kids love them. If they were cheaper I'd buy again but these are too expensive with the plastic breaking when they're taken apart.
