Kikkoman Katsu Sauce, 11.75 oz, (Pack of 6)

In a nutshell, when a person goes to great lengths to obtain a particular brand's katsu sauce over just getting whatever else is out there, it shows how truly special it must be. I've had this product before when I lived in Oregon, but when I moved to Missouri and wanted to make tonkatsu (Japanese fried pork cutlets), NONE of the nearby stores carried it! Ordering it in bulk like this from Walmart.com was actually (shockingly) cheaper than buying it on Amazon and actually makes the price per bottle way cheaper than I ever paid in a store. So it worked out, even though I don't need quite so many at once. At least I won't have to worry about buying any for a long time! I'm a sucker for Kikkoman over other brands mainly because the quality and taste is always there. So I use this katsu sauce and the Kikkoman Panko (bread crumbs) for my tonkatsu and it always comes out great! I'm a really terribly picky person, so the list of things I'll actually eat is probably shorter than that of a picky child, so the fact this sauce makes the cut just goes to show how wonderful it is. I will only ever use this brand's katsu sauce.

So hard to find this sauce locally, so it was a great deal online!

If you love Japanese food then you know how important Katsu sauce is. Kikkoman makes a sauce that compares to the famous Bull Dog sauce. After scouring everywhere looking for the best price I found Walmart to be unbeatable. Even Ebay couldn't compete with this price.

Katus sauce is a wonderful sauce that you can flavor meats and veggies or use as a dipping sauce. Unfortunately it is hard to find in most store which is why I purchased it online. It is mostly used with a Japanese dish of breaded chicken or pork fried serve on a bed of shredded cabbage.

I was SO pleased to find the Katsu Sauce on line! I had previously bought it at a couple of grocery stores, but it was discontinued. It is absolutely delicious on a pounded thin pork shop, dipped in an egg wash and then Panko, and pan fried in light Olive Oil. The Katsu just finishes the perfectly flavored dish. Thank you Walmart for saving this family favorite menu item for us! I won't worry about where to find it from now on.

If you absolutely love the flavor of bulldog, then initially you may not like this product. But this Katsu sauce grows own you because of the small amount of spice that gives it a bit of a zing. The more I used this product, the more I like it.

can't this in the local stores or online at a reasonable price. The product is 5-star, shipping is fast too! However while the package was well-packed, the 6-pack came in smaller plastic-wrapped box and one of the bottles were cracked and completely drained of the sauce, so it was a mess. Good thing was the other 5 bottles were intact and since there was a rollback, the discount made up for the broken bottle.

I have used/bought this sauce for several years, but could not find it anywhere in the local grocery stores, so I headed on-line to find it, and behold, I found it at Walmart on line. Thanks to Walmart, I now have it to use and enjoy! I tell everyone I meet, that this is a wonderful sauce to use, especially if you like pork chops.
