This is my favorite out of all of the kind breakfast bars. For a 71-year-old that unfortunately has lost all my teeth due to a medication I was given. These bars are the softest out of all of the kind bars and that I had purchased. Various times I have purchased them in just a single box with other protein breakfast bars. This is my second time purchasing them in a box of five. That's how much I love these bars. I use them a lot too take to go along with supplements that I'm supposed to take along with food. I also love the fact that I am getting 8 grams of protein per one pack of two bars. I will also just eat them as a snack when suddenly my belly hits my backbone and I don't feel well enough to get up and try to make something to eat. You can't go wrong buying these almond bars. Just make sure you leave some for me! 😄😄😄
I've been eating the Kind Almond Butter bars for 3+ years. I was near addicted to the bars eating 2 or 3 packages a day - often instead of a meal. But recently something was different. In addition to he package change the taste is very different -- and not positively. I assume it's the soy protein addition. Regardless of the cause I will no longer be buying and eating the Kind Almond Butter bars. The 30+ boxes I purchased to take advantage of sale will probably be donated to a food pantry.
Did you change your recipe when you changed your packaging? This doesn't taste the same and they're harder now. I chipped a tooth. I use to love these for their taste and softness. Bring back the softer texture and the original recipe. This is terrible. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Common sense.
I've been eating KIND Almond Butter bars for years as my go‑to breakfast, but the recent change in both packaging and recipe has me seriously considering other options. The new packaging is simply unappealing—the dull, washed‑out colors make the product look old, like it's been sitting on the shelf for years. Unfortunately, the bars themselves now reflect that same impression. They've become noticeably harder and drier than before, which is a big disappointment compared to the soft, satisfying texture they used to have. I used to love these bars, but whatever was changed hasn't been an improvement.
I have been eating kind breakfast bars almost everyday for 5-6 years now. I like them because they are easy on my stomach. However, a few weeks ago I noticed a change and in packaging and thought “hm, that's interesting” then I noticed that the texture and flavor were off. Now these bars and the honey oats ones (both were my favorites) are hard and don't taste as good as they used to. Very disappointed that I'm going to have to find a new breakfast bar.
Went from 5 stars to 1 star...These were absolutely delicious...a fluffy and moist morning protein bar...everything changed with new recipe...now you have a flat, dry, bland tasting bar which also appears to be smaller. Very disappointing, I can only guess your bottom line was more important than your customer. Last time I buy these bars and Kind WAS my go to.
Ugh I am so disappointed in Kind. I have been a long-time customer and eat the breakfast bars (blueberry was my favorite) 5 days a week. I was even part of your subscription plan until that service was discontinued. My beloved breakfast bars have changed and not for the better. They are hard, lacking in flavor, smaller, with a gritty texture, and they leave a not so great aftertaste. And seriously, not everything has to have protein added. I am so sad that I have to find an alternative to these breakfast bars. Bring back the old recipe.
I hate the new protein breakfast bars!!! I used to eat the original ones every morning. It was a gluten free staple. The original ones were soft and fluffy, but now it's just hard, tasteless, and chalky!!! :-( I won't be buying them unless they go back to something closer to the original.
Been eating these since 2016 every day due to I have a sensitive stomach and celiac and have had no issues. This new whatever you did is so disappointing because ingredients changed and researching you use barley for flavoring which has gluten. This was my always go to snack and now I have to find something else.
I, like most everyone e else have been a long time consumer of kind bars. My favorite was the peanut butter breakfast bars. I am searching for something else. They new change with these is simply awful. If I wanted to eat cardboard I wouldn't pay for it. Who thought this was a good idea?
