Kinder's restaurant style smashed potatoes, a different take on a baked potato. seasoned smashed baby potatoes and sauced with "liquid gold" cowboy butter with Dijon butter and chilly. Easy to prepare, thaw liquid gold sauce, bake potatoes and apply sauce. These potatoes are a great pairing with a steak and salad. Pros: great taste and texture. Easy and fast to prepare. Cons: expensive.
I've had a number of air fried smashed potatoes that were pretty good, but these totally caught me off guard. They've got an additional bag with butter, olive oil, spices, and probably some other stuff and those take the potatoes from pretty good to surprisingly amazing. The creaminess of the potatoes goes great with the garlic and butter, and it almost makes you feel like you're eating mashed potatoes but with that little bit of extra crisp from the air fryer.
These restaurant-style smashed potatoes bring a crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside texture. The cowboy butter flavor really shines through, offering a rich, savory blend of garlic, herbs, and a hint of smoky spice that elevates the simple potato. They're incredibly easy to prepare, making them a fantastic side dish for any meal without much work.
These smashed potatoes turned out fantastic. The outside got crispy and golden while the inside stayed soft and fluffy. The Cowboy Butter flavor adds a rich buttery taste with just the right amount of seasoning and a little kick. They were quick to make in the air fryer and tasted like something from a restaurant.
the Kinders smashed potatoes cowboy butter was tasty. easy air fryer directions, the potatoes were well seasoned, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. the liquid gold sauce packet added a zesty garlic forward taste. really delicious and easy to make
This product was easy and delicious, which is expended from any Kinder's product. It is a great addition to any dinner to add flavor and ease. The seasoning packet was easy to thaw and just pour over the potatoes. It would be a better product. However, if you got more servings per bag.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These Kinder's Cowboy Butter Smashed Potatoes are such a convenient and delicious side dish! They're crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and the cowboy butter seasoning adds a rich, buttery flavor with just the right hint of garlic and herbs. They're easy to prepare in the oven or air fryer, making them perfect for busy weeknights when you want something that tastes homemade without the extra work. They pair well with steak, chicken, burgers, or just about any meal. If you're looking for a quick freezer side that's full of flavor, these are definitely worth keeping on hand!
They are very good just DO NOT use the entire butter pack on one batch, it's way too strong. I gave this a 3 star because you don't get much in the bag, the bag is 3x's bigger then what you get, you only get a 1/4 of the bag. The price is ok for what you get, simple, fast, throw it in the air fryer and into the table in a short amount of time.
I'm always looking for new side dishes. The Kinder's Smashed Potatoes were pretty good. I like the Kinder's brand in general. The bag said there are 15-18 potatoes in the bag but we only got 12 pieces of potatoes. I doubt I'd buy them again because of the cost for what's in the bag. Not a good value for a family of four.
For the price you're better off just backing your own yellow potatoes with olive oil and seasoning. After thawing be sure to shake the flavoring packet if used in portions as all the salt and herbs are at the bottom. Quite a disappointment, but at least edible.
