I actually gave birth wearing this gown. I like that it's one size fits all, but is better designed than hospital gowns because it actually covers your whole body (no huge openings!). The velcro doesn't get in the way in terms of being uncomfortable or scratchy. The material of the gown is soft, and I like that it has a pattern. Overall I would recommend this gown. It's well designed for labor/birth as well as postpartum with breastfeeding.
I was a scheduled c-section, and our baby was in the NICU for 4 days. I was so glad I had this gown. I couldn't wear it for the surgery of course, but as soon as I was able to stand up on my own, I changed into it. It is soft and warm and was roomy enough for my postpartum belly. I was 155lbs pre-pregnancy, and 173 full term. Ease of access-wise, this gown was super convenient for my colostrum collecting, pumping sessions, breast feeding, and skin to skin contact. Loved the Velcro. Sooo much nicer than the awful hospital gowns.
I was worried about it not being comfortable because I am very sensitive to different textures but it was honestly so comfortable. The front Velcro also made all the monitor checks and visiting the restroom so much easier. I highly recommend these gowns!
I sized up but my bump was on the larger size. Was super comfortable and gave me some comfort and a sense of self during my last labor. The nurses all loved the versatility of the gown and it took me from induction start, active labor to unplanned csection.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gown was perfect in the hospital while giving birth. Lots of openings and nice fabric.
I used this gown for my L&D and it was perfect! I felt like a human as I was wearing my own clothes and something soft, as opposed to the rough hospital gown. I appreciated all the Velcro as it meant I was able to stay somewhat covered and modest throughout the whole process. The doctors and nurses all commented on the ingenuity of the gown and said they would recommend it to patients going forward. I ordered a medium and it was perfect.
I love it! Feel like home than hospital. Glad i bring this with me
I was surprised by how fast my items arrived i wanted to make sure i had all i needed to go into labor early since i am experiencing a high risk pregnancy and my due date has beccome unknown at this time.. my items where comfortable on my skin perfect fit I'm sure they'll feel even better after the delivery of my child..
I like the style of the different briefs, especially for pregnancy. I was expecting the underwear in the hospital pack to be thicker for postpartum use. I also purchased some underwear that I thought was 100% cotton and was not. I wish they had 100% cotton as that is best for breathable underwear. Also, the sizes run really small.
I am very disappointed in the product. I bought the birthing set and the underwear fell apart at the seams after 2 washes.
