These are fairly large crayons. The gel part makes them very soft, and these are intensely colored. My grand-kids love these, unlike normal crayons, these are easy to color with, and make very pretty pictures. These are too wide to color with for adults, with tighter thinner lines. But for pre-school and early years in school, these would make excellant colors for the bigger wider lines in their coloring books. These can be extended by twisting, and younger kids may twist them too far and break off that length of the crayon. I give the kids 11x17 inch paper, and these coloring sticks, and it occupies them for an hour or more. NOTE: These are very competitively priced, and this makes them a particularly good value.

First off, these crayons come in fabulous cases! They keep them very secure, yet you can see the crayons through them. Secondly, these are soooooo smooth. They lay down color very nicely! As the tips wear down, you just screw up from the bottom

These gelsticks are smooth and rich and glide on like butter. Very satisfying to use and the colors just pop. Fantastic value.

The gel stick crayons are great. They don't break like regular crayons with you ending up with pieces everywhere.
