Definitely a less messy option for tempura paint for the more grown up kidlets… but the littlest ones still enjoy messy brushes. 😉

Easy to use and a lot of fun!
This is my first time trying tempera sticks and I love them so much that I plan to get more in the future. They are so convenient and are a great way to fit in some therapeutic artwork (or just smear some color around) in a short time. The only thing I wish were different is the color selection. The colors in this pack are mostly sooo bold that it is not the easiest to do realistic art but overall I still love working with them. They have very little smell (only noticeable if you use a lot very fast) and dry quickly enough that I can use them almost anywhere / anytime. They also work great with gel sticks and other mixed media. I have not tried using water with them yet but I have seen other people do that and get interesting effects so I want to try that also.
