It works but not for what it claims
Mislabeled, not a Geiger Counter... works as an EMF detector but so do most stud finders and smart phones... whatever. Luckily I have real ones.

THIS IS NOT A GEIGER COUNTER
THIS DOES NOT DETECT NUCLEAR RADIATION. IT IS AN EMF METER. A proper Geiger-Müller counter (Geiger counter) should show: CPM (Counts Per Minute) µSv/h (microsieverts per hour) – measures radiation dose mR/h (milliroentgens per hour) CPS (Counts Per Second) It detects Alpha, Beta, and Gamma radiation. THIS IS NOT A GEIGER COUNTER Sorry I am so annoyed by this bait and switch
