I was hesitant to buy this since it was cheaper than comparable models and all the reviews were from a couple of years ago. But, since I was on a budget and it was fairly light at 22 lbs, I went ahead and bought it. Well, it's been working great. I needed it for my basement and needed the pump to work and push the water up so that it could drain into the waste pipe on the wall. I also needed to be able to lift it to place on a shelf closer to the waste pipe. The lighter weight enabled me to do that. It was easy to set up and works like a charm. My only complaint is that it's loud when on medium and high, but otherwise, it's perfect. I would buy it again.
I own several industrial dehumidifiers that I put in my crawlspaces. This thing is in a bathroom and I think I like it better than the crawlspace ones I paid $500 for. I paid a $160 for this thing. We all know that with foreign-made stuff, it can go out on you after just a few months use. So I will have to update this review if this thing craps out prematurely. But so far so good. It's doing a great job. I have it in a bathroom and it doesn't take long after a shower to get the whole bathroom bone dry. Fyi, keep your toilet lids down to keep it from dropping water levels in the bowl. If I forget, it only drops it a quarter-inch. Not a huge deal. Anyway, I really like the pump on this thing. I HATE emptying out dehumidifier collection tanks. The pump is nice and quiet. It came with a tiny hose which I routed to a floor drain a ways away. This thing will run constantly if you need it to. I'm super happy with it and will get another sometime this year after I see if this will last more than 6 months.
I like how there's a choice to drain into the attached reservoir, attach a hose to gravity drain or use pump option with the hose that's included with the unit. The "pump" option button is conveniently located on top of the unit. Smooth rolling to any part of the basement and keeps humidity consistently low in any position it's rolled to. We've only had it for five days but so far so good.
The dehumidifier works great! It is very quiet.
Works better than I expected
Easy to set up, pumps right to the drain line in our basement and works well!
I've been using this lovely appliance for almost 3 months and am pleased with it's ability to pull humidity. The capacity is not as much as the huge one I had before, but for the price I find it a great value. It is not silent by any means, but the sound is more soothing, than some obnoxious sounds one might imagine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this in the corner of our kitchen and it keeps the humiditiy level at +-50%, which is perfect - no strain on the system either. I had been looking for a dehumidifier with an internal pump for a good price and was so happy to get this one. DRain line goes through easily and keeps humidity reasonable at a very very quiet - dont even know its there!
Working great so far. Definitely taking the moisture out of the air. The pump is pretty slow but it works. Came with the front scratched up. Not too happy about that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to use in our Florida room and shed. They can get very damp and musty smelling. This is a large and pretty heavy unit, but rolls easy and has good handles. It is easy to take out the bucket to dump water out, but there is also a place for a hose. You can either drain into a floor drain or pump it out a window. I like that it has a big easy to use display. It tell the humidity in the room and shuts down when desired humidity is reached.
