This ladder is surprisingly light for how well it's built: it looks as it should weigh a lot, but it's quite simple to move and lightweight to set into place. I'm over 300%23's, so stability and strength are my biggest concerns and this put me to ease quickly. I would buy again if I ever needed to, but I don't think that's gonna happen: this ladder is sturdy and well built. I'm sure I'll have for many years to come.
I'm a drywall contractor and I have used this same ladder for taping hanging drywall off this ladder so nice that I weigh 300 lbs and it has not broken but I would hope only someone with experience with ladders to ever try this it's a little difficult for some people but not others yes I would definitely recommend this ladder to anyone. Yours sincerely Robert pino from Trinidad,Colorado
FYI I'm 68 years old. Had to install the top rail and the shelf when I got it. No problem. I really like the shelf so I don't have to get up and down all the time. The top bar is great for stability. It's perfect for sanding and painting ceilings. Also it's light weight enough for me to haul around the house.
This ladder is very sturder. It folds out nice and easy to fold up when done. Its easy to climb and stand on and i have very bad knees it doesnt move.
The ladder is well built and stable. The steps are relatively wide and tool tray at the top of the ladder is convenient. I also appreciate that it folds up quite nicely for storage.
i like that it has wider stairs to stand on and also reaches higher than most of these type step ladders.
Pro's: The ladder was packaged very well. Assembly was easy and even had spare hardware and the hex wrenches needed for assembly in the packaging. Con's: The hand support is short when you stand on the top step which makes it feel somewhat unsteady. Also, when folded, if you attempt to carry the ladder by reaching between the tools shelf and the top step, the tools shelf will open making it awkward to try and carry.
I like having a just right height with a handrail and a tool platform. This would have been a five-star ratting, but the handrail has more wiggle than I like. I intend to modify the attachment with a bolt and nut.
It was described as being steel it is aluminum. Also the braces for it are not attached, you need to attach them. It is a GREAT little ladder!! VERY sturdy %26 doesn't move when someone is on n .
PROS: Affordable, large steps, paint / tool tray at top, appears to hold weight. CONS: Not stable when climbing. All the glowing reviews and not one mentioned that the ladder sways while you climb up. This is due to the narrow width, the small feet, and mostly because the cross supports are thin, flexible metal that give little lateral rigidity. It seems to hold a decent weight so far, but the sway during climb is only going to get worse with age and wear. Contemplating a return, but definitely would not purchase again, at least this model.
