Mini sliders are craving and always a huge hit in our house and very kid friendly. These buns are the perfect size for children of all ages. They're the perfect texture that you can eat them as is or even grill them so if you have a little crispy crunch to your bun.
King's Hawaiian slider buns are the best Hawaiian sweet mini buns I have found. I always have to remember they're small - they're sliders after all. So, it's important to order enough for the number of people I have. But they get the sweetness perfect, in my opinion. They are wonderful with pulled pork. It reminds me of a luau.
My kids love these! I use them to make little ham and cheese sandwiches to send with school lunches.
They taste great but they looked much bigger in the photos, they are not very much bigger than the little Hawaiian rolls. And there's only 9 in a pack. I should've ordered the hamburger buns version of these perhaps they might be a bit bigger.
I bought these for the convenience of them already being sliced, thinking it would save time and help with my cutting consistency but they don't taste the same as the rolls that aren't cut! I usually use the other rolls that aren't presliced and I cut them all at once at the beginning. I don't always slice evenly through them and it causes the tops or bottoms to not be as big or too big... which is not a true issue honestly! I just saw these and thought "oh great, this will be better than the crazy slicing I do"... lol! That part might be true, BUT THEY DO NOT TASTE THE SAME as the regular ones... so it threw off the taste that we are used to and therefore I will go back to using the regular rolls and doing my uneven slicing until I get it down pat, ha!
When having groceries delivered ask them to notify you or put in your hands. The wild cats in neighborhood had nice feast on my food. I kept looking out door to see if they were delivered every 15 minutes. I came back the second time and the had a feast. I will go to store myself next time. I was very sick and thought it would be easier.
The buns are hard and dry. I purchased King's Hawaiian brand in the past but this package of buns should only be used for sopping up gravy.it was hard to push for freshness because of the dry bun.
Delivered today 12/18 with a use by date of 12/7!!!

I love these buns; however, my order for 7/23 had these and they were delivered to us but they were out of date. This is unacceptable
