These pellets provide a true wood-smoked flavor from American hardwoods such as hickory, cherry and oak woods. These smoker pellets provide very good eprformance in a pellet grill if you have a Pit Boss or a Traeger. I like that these have no artificial flavors, binders, dyes, chemical additives or added oils. The smokey flavor was excellent on our chicken. There was some dust but that's to be expected in a 35 pound bag which should last awhile! I recommend these and will buy again. Kingsford makes excellent grilling and smoking products.

I use Kingsford Chefs Blend wood pellets in my RecTeq RT-700 pellet grill. The combination of hickory, cherry and oak provides a balanced smoke with just the right flavor profile to compliment just about everything you can smoke. The pellets burn clean and provide plenty of BTU's.

When we use wood chips it is usually one of these flavors we are getting. I've read that lots of the pellets contain fillers so I'm happy this one looks to be 100% natural hardwood according to the packaging.

I bought these because they were on sale and the ingredients suggested they would suit my desired flavor profile. I'm having serious difficulties with them causing backburn. Smoker was running great, topped off the hopper with different pellets---these, an hour later they started making their way into the burn chamber....and smoke everywhere. Emptied the hopper, ran the auger dry, filled up with a fresh batch of these pellets, and backburn within 45 minutes at 250. Had to move my pork into the oven to deal with the mess. I will be sticking with the sams club brand. They seem to burn a whole lot better.
