Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes for Grilling, Eagle Limited Edition, 16 lbs Bag

Ever since Henry Ford conceived of the idea to use all scrap oak byproduct of his early cars to make charcoal, Kingsford has been the undisputed go-to for bbq queuing until the advent of other wood fuels and lump charcoal. In many ways it still is, flavor, heat and ease of ignition (chimney) are still there. Kingsford Original is long lasting whereas, professional is a faster burning higher heat briquet. Keep that distinction in mind when choosing Kingsford. I highly recommend the Original but still have reservation about the Professional.

Easy enough for a child to use, but only if they're grown. :)

only charcoal to use!! period!

The Best, pairs well with it's companion lighter fluid...

I have used Kingsford's Charcoal for many years. From time to time I have purchased other brands, but not with equal results. It starts fast, burns clean and gives the meats a nice flavor.

Best charcoal for the money.

Large bag and priced reasonably. Worked as advertised.

these coals were hard to light and once finally lit, they quickly burned to ashes

If you know that it's going to rain and the items don't have protection they're in the original paper type container. Either placed them in a dry area or rapid plastic. I understand it was not raining at drop off time, but kind of figured that it was about to rain, which within half an hour it started raining thunderstorms.
