Great RAM with Overclocking

Nathan D. May 19, 2025

Doing a system upgrade I bought this RAM. It was a great option for gaming, many of my games saw a 100fps increase post overclock, initially when putting the RAM in my motherboard however I kept getting DRAM errors causing no boot, but after around 30-45 minutes of tweaking I found a configuration that worked, highly recommend Kingston they never fail to impress.

I ordered 64 gig of this ram to replace 32 gig of another brand. The other brand was also a good brand but I couldn't use all 4 of my ram slots. One was blocked by the hoses from the cpu cooler. I replaced those 2x 16 with 2x32 of this ram and have had no problems. Enabled xmp in bios and pc booted first try. I would recommend.

RAM Upgrade Makes All the Difference!!!

Joe A. September 26, 2022

This was easy, everything installed correctly and my new machine is running lightening fast. I highly recommend Kingston memory and upgrades. I have used Kingston memory many times over the years. Never an issue. Just make sure you buy the correct RAM for your machine and vintage.

It works!

TTTT November 3, 2023

Running at 6000 with i7-13700 no problem. I bought this because of the excellent documentation. Corsair and GSkill documentation is severely lacking.

Easy plug and play. Went from Kingston fury beast 4800 32gb kit to the 5600 64gb kit. Took a few times to boot correctly but works like a charm now. Using on Asus prime z-690 mobo running i9-12900k on windows 10 64 bit.

Works Reliably, Shipping Was Fast

Michael October 8, 2022

I installed these in an ROG Crosshair X670E Hero and loaded the EXPO 1 profile. I ran a bunch of stability tests, and the RAM is stable at DDR5 6000 with the advertised timings. The DIMMs use SK Hynix chips which the best DDR5 chips for overclocking at this time. Timings in the EXPO profile are: tCL=36, tRCD=38, tRP=38, tRAS=80, tRC=118. The secondary timings in the EXPO profile (tFAW, tRRDL, tCCDL, tCCDL_WR, tCCDL_WR2, tWTRL, tWTRS, tRTP) seem to all be set to 1, which is probably not ideal though the BIOS seems to ignore them.

Decent memory for the price

jbyrer August 15, 2022

Decent DDR5 memory for the price. It's a shame that CAS latency isn't as good as for DDR4 modules yet. It would be helpful if the memory came with a note about how you need to use DIMM slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3.

Tried with XMP turned on, system became not stable

Jeremy Y July 17, 2023

Works fine alone, but only in 4000MT/S when work with the original Kingstone 4800MT/s 2*16GB RAM, not happy with that. Tried with XMP turned on, system became not stable and got reboot frequently automatically.
