Kipling Seoul Extra Large 17" Laptop Backpack

In 7th grade my daughter needed a backpack that would hold all of her school supplies. I swear, it was over 40 pounds every day. She is applying to grad schools this year. That pink backpack took her through 10 years of daily overuse and is still going strong and looking good. It came on airplane trips and hiking trips in the summers. She is considering upgrading to a more adult color, which is why I am on here looking to buy the same bag.

I bought this backpack in 2024 and now being 2026 it is still holding up. I got it as a diaper backpack because I did not want to carry a huge looking one and this one was perfect. The multiple compartments all carried my baby items in a nice organized way. It is now my work backpack which carries my iPad Mini and other essentials. Not a single tear, washed it a few time and the color is still nice and dark. I really like Kipling products for there durability. It's been everywhere with me and I haven't had any tears.

I wanted a small bag to carry while I am at work that way I don't need to carry everything I already carry in my City Pack Small Backpack and this has come through. I really like the multiple compartments and the way it looks. I bought this back in 2024 and it's been really great carrying it around. This is my go to bag. Again no tears and the color has been the same after a few washes.

Great everyday crossbody! The size is perfect for my essentials and the compartments keep everything organized. I've owned several Kipling bags over the years and they always last forever, so I know this one will too. Stylish, lightweight, and very practical.

I just got my 7th (maybe 8th?) Sabian crossbody. They are super durable - I just keep wanting the new colors! it's super light - the perfect size for what I need to carry day to day. When I need to carry a tote, it fits inside which is so handy — especially when traveling.

Love this little bag so much that I bought it in a second color. I love the side pockets. One side carries my keys. The front pocket carries my wallet. The main compartment has just enough room for essentials. Kipling bags are always great quality.

It's a good bag, not too small, so I use it when I need to carry a little more. The metallic color is pretty. I bought one for myself and another as a gift for my sister. However, hers came unstitched at the strap after very little use. This had never happened to me with a Kipling before. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars.

I love the design. The fabric is great. . However the zipper was broken after 5 months of use. I need to replace a new one. It can only fit the soft stuffs or things that can be easily be squeezed in. My 5th grade child tried to put her laptop, a binder and a couple of books but could not. So if you need to put stuffs like books, binder and laptop together, this design is not ideal for you. Last but not least. cant fit a water bottle. Probably a plastic disposable 500ml bottle. I still like Kipling though.

I love the print. I like the size . but I disliked the open slip pocket with drawstring. I prefer a zipper as the string sticks out and if the bag is tilted when worn on one shoulder things inside cwn slip out. Also thr magnetic snaps takes a while to connect and close. Same wirh rhe side pockets. I prefer zippers. Make one on this size of the city zip backpack.

I am a big fan of Kipling and I have so many Kipling bags and backpacks but I am so disappointed with this backpack. It is way too small and narrow. It looks like kindergarten backpack. The side pockets are very small and not stretch, they don't fit regular water bottle, only fit the small water bottle. The back zipper pocket is too shallow worthless. I have been using Seoul Extra Large backpack (black color as picture)for my carry on backpack when I travel but it doesn't have the luggage pass through and the zipper pocket inside. That's why I ordered Seoul cabin backpack. I would suggest Kipling to add the luggage pass through and the zipper pocket inside the Seoul Extra Large backpack.
