Perfect size and structure. Pocket storage is great. Very well made.Only suggestion is to add key fobs on both sides. I tuck the keys into the outside pockets, but need a key fob to hook onto. Suggesting both sides as it depend on whether you are right or left-handed.Also wish the monkey was the same as the other backpacks.
It's my new favorite. I move it all the way to the side, clip it & use it cross shoulder. My pixel 6 (long) fits great in the front pocket. The middle pocket is actually very roomy Last pocket, believe it or not my CCW fits perfectly! I wouldn't suggest to use it up to the chest. Waist is much better in my opinion.~~~~Disappointed con: Kipling had decided to stop offering us the awesome key chain holder. I prefer the fluffy monkey.
I bought this to use primarily when traveling, having grown tired of trying to cram too many pairs of glasses into a small crossbody bag. The size seems just right to hold my things, plus a bottle of water. Lots of pockets to keep me organized and the small side pockets are just right for my cell phone. It is a little too small for a laptop but that was not my objective.
I recently purchased this item and I can say it was almost perfect for my needs. I believe the lock is installed correctly but the numbers are upside down when laid down. It's missing a handle on the bottom of carrying and lifting. Otherwise,I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The durability is great, the interior sizing is perfect for packing cubes and the top is perfect for jackets and other soft items you may want easy access to without opening. For me the bag is the perfect size, filly packed 55lbs.
A general upgrade to my usual Kipling purse (Alenya, Aisling, Izellah are my standbys). It's an elegant shade of gray with elevated silver metal zipper pulls and such. The shoulder strap is a smooth nylon, think seatbelt material, and the buckle doesn't loosen during the course of a day like the standard cotton straps might. I carry a lot of stuff in my purse and everything fits in the Oswin. Where my usual styles are wide, this bag is tall, and there's room to spare once I pile everything in it. As someone who wears her bag on her left shoulder, the interior pocket placement can be tricky. Also, with cellphones varying in size, the size of that interior cell pocket can be a dealbreaker. Thankfully, the size and placement are just right for me on the Oswin. (I had to abandon the Alenya style for this reason when I upgraded phones a couple years ago.) If I could give half-stars, this is actually a 4.5 star review for 2 minor issues. Again, as a person who wears her purse on her left shoulder, the excess strap hangs towards the front of the bag, which isn't great aesthetically. Also, I feel the absence of a rear or side pocket or two. The back exterior panel is so tall and bare without a slip or zip pocket. Everyone loves pockets! Side note: there is no key fob/clip.
Huge backpack, perfect for my daughter whose school has a large campus and doesnt use lockers. Love the laptop compartment and the small storage areas. She has gotten tons of compliments and the lilac color is really pretty. The zippers are super smooth too. Love this bag!
I love using it! Its lightweight and it can hold a lot for a quick day trip in a park or beach. I was able to fit a tumbler, a pair of clothes, and some snacks. Its now become my everyday bag whenever Im buying groceries or Im out strolling around the city. There are also a lot of pockets, which makes it great for storing stuff. I love the back pocket feature that makes storing wallets and phone feel more secure.
Great little bag, lightweight with lots of pockets. 1 star off for the ridiculous side pockets, which are too small to be of any real use. It would be great if at least one of them was expandable to accommodate a small water bottle. As they are, it seems like they just exist to torment me.

For starters, the narrower strap is a minus in my opinion - more prone to twisting. The top zipper zips the opposite way from the 'Angie' so that when wearing it over the left shoulder (which I'm guessing any right-handed person would do) the detail and small zipper compartments are facing one's body, not the outside where they would be more accessible. All of this considered I suppose you had to change something to make it the 'New Angie'. On the plus side, the black zippers are a definite improvement. And the overall layout is terrific which is why I bought the old 'Angie' bag in the first place. My only suggestion would be to make the whole thing a tiny bit bigger overall without changing the layout. (However, I would still like to find an old 'Angie' in black.) Great bag for anyone who values organization.
